Your most legendaries in a boss kill?

I was farming Graveward offline and pleasantly surprised by an 8 legendaries drop! First time I have ever had such an amount of orange on my screen (while not being in slaughter) :slight_smile: Normally I get around 2-3 on Mayhem 3. How about you, have you had an insane amount of legendaries drop from a boss?

Edit: it has come to my attention that some say that you get a better loot drop rate while playing offline, so I have to inform you that I did play offline when I got the 8 drops. I was playing offline as I did not want to get the annoying Terror affixes on the item drops. So, do take this into consideration when you post your answer:)

8!!! wow, that’s awesome! my highest was 7 legendaries, from Troy. he’s always good for a decent amount of oranges, and he’s a quick kill with the Cutsman + zane and his digi-clone doubling up on the gun. I wish i took a screenshot of it.

Nice:) Looking forward grinding Troy again. Cutsman is a really good smg, I got one in corrosive and Fire and it sure melts:)

I got 4 from Captain Traunt once. Graveward never pays out for me, gotten two legendaries in about 10 fights (mixing standard and Mayhem 3)…including the chest in the vault.

Traunt pays out so much more for me. I love the map of Athena in general tbh. Traunt just dropped a StormFront for me last night, it’s worthless for me post Moze nerf but still fun.

I have all toons at 50 and lots of legendaries and haven’t really did any dedicated boss farming. I think I got 5 from rampager though!

the other day i got 7 legendaries from graveward, what special about is that all are anointed. :wink::wink:

8 is really nice! Maybe you had the same as I ?! Launched the game, pressed continue instantly once loaded and surprisingly in unintented-offline-mode, the Rampager dropped 7 !

You get increased loot drop while playing offline? I thought this only mattered towards the XP amount.

Just got six, strange that the boss dropped more legedaries that purple and blue combined.

Legit question: Is everyone here getting 6+ legendaries to drop from a boss playing online?

Due to Nerf-a-geddon 2019 Gearbox created a divide in the community of those that play offline and those that play online.

The most I’ve had drop online is 4. Sometimes zero.

I will do some testing on Graveward online and see how many I can get. As of now, I do think that what @Dartdodge mentioned is pretty accurate. Even with the increased drop rate in legendaries event, I did not get more than 4 legendaries while grinding Mouthpiece, as an example. It might be that some bosses drop more legendaries than others, and maybe ZiggyD Gaming would have the best answer for that (+ - patches), as he as grinded some bosses for over 100 times.

Killed Graveward online roughly 30 times and 5 legendaries was the most that dropped in one session. I will keep on grinding him in the future, but right now it seems that 5 might be the maximum. Will be interesting to see if anyone has gotten more from him or any other boss.

I’ve gotten 6 from Agonizer 9000. Actual items, because the boss also tends to drop cosmetics. Two annointed, which I kept.
