What do you guys think about the anointments? I think there might be some really interesting and strong combinations

I wonder what will happen with them once the event ends in December.

What should change when the event ends? The mechanic is usable even if there are no haunted enemies i think.

it must be purpose that there are anoinments that
A: benefit from being terrified
B: Give you terror
C: benefit from deleting the terror effect on you

so with a good set you might get full control of the “buff/debuff”

I’m just replacing my grenades with Terror annointments and farming a few shields too. Idk how good the weapon-related annointments are. I tried out a Krakatoa with the extra projectile annointment. It was okay I guess.

yes, hard to tell if its worth by now (since they do not show any precise values FeelsBadMan )
but it is atleast interesting

So I’ve been using a grenade/ shield combo to gain stacks of Terror and to gain a crit/damage/fire rate buff. I usually favor my non-Halloween annointments over the holiday ones for my guns. However, I am using the ammo regen one for my Butcher. Speaking of Hyperion, I’ve noticed that their guns can bypass the decreased accuracy and handling from Terror stacks.

Edit: Actually, I think just aiming down sights on all guns does the same.

im playing the same combo and use phasecast anoinment on my weaps, if i can.
and yes, aiming down the sights seems to bypass it

so i think its potential buff on every character

Thanks for sharing. I don’t use Terror items myself, but I am sure some will find some interesting affixes to use.

The terror annointed builds are pretty good, I’m having a bunch of fun with the event items. More fun than any event items from any game in recent memory.

It really cuts loose when you can run around with max terror stacks
