Yeah, some content.

Seriously though, this is the thread I’ve been looking for. Get to it, people!

@VaultHunter101 can we pin this, please. Thanks

There is already a top gear thread for moze. Skill guide is missing though.

Skill guide and a detailed Iron Bear break-down would be good, but it might be worth holding off until we see what the next major update brings? I know addressing IB end-game issues is on the table. That said, I think I saw a few interesting link candidates last time I mozeyed through the thread list!

Skill guides, an iron bear bug list and various maths breakdowns are all definitely in line to be added, but will all need to wait till Gearbox has rolled out their long term solutions to the pets.

I imagine a Mayhem or (hopefully)UVHM survival guide will also be in order at some point.

Why were the weapons and skill guides deleted?

The original guides have been removed by the author.

I’ve quietly added a few threads recently. I’d be interested if anyone has suggestions for more descriptive divisions between the different links.

Is there a place I can look at how the math works for drowning in brass and selfless vengeance? With the latest patch, I don’t have to focus so heavily on perfectly optimized damage builds, so I’ve been experimenting with purple class mods.

With 8/5 drowning in brass, that’s 32% per stack. How do I know how that applies to my teammates? Am I giving them a 96% damage bonus? Is that additive, and does it apply to all elements they’re applying at the time or just their gun damage? What about the same with selfless vengeance? Since that is an element, does that create a second pellet, or just apply to whatever elements they’re already doing? If the answer is complicated, a simple link to a better resource would be fine.

Edit: I read the skill breakdown. While it seems outdated for current bl3 build it helped some, especially the bit about diminish returns. It still leaves some of the questions above, especially about how SV affects other players.

Drowning in Brass is gun damage and will add with other gun damage for each Vault Hunter. You can find gun damage for each VH highlighted in red here. So 8/5 DiB at 3 stacks will lend each member of your team 96% gun damage.

Selfless vengeance should create an instance of bonus fire damage for everyone on the team. This would just be like them having a bonus 15% fire damage from an anoint or skill of their own. It will create extra projectiles, though its not been tested to a degree where I could say if it overlaps with other skills.

Thanks. That’s exactly what I needed. I’ll take any other observations to a other topic thread since I’m realizing this is a pinned one. Have a good day!

Is there any guide about what skills increase damage with Moze using a Facepuncher? I’ve seen several things about what “might work” but have had no luck finding someone saying for sure. Also, I’m trying out a few things based off the Terror annoints with the Facepuncher, so if anyone has any ideas or tips I’m open to suggestions.

For Moze specifically no, or atleast not that I’m aware of. If you don’t mind a bit of cross referencing you can use this guide

and just anywhere it says (1+gun damage) substitute in whats labelled normal hit in this guide

I will definitely go over it and try it out, thanks!
