BL3 is already a dead and stale game… proving grounds is fun the first few hundred times, the story was atrocious so there is no reason to do tvhm…
well, there’s plenty other games out there, go give them a try.
Cool story.
The story is decent. I’ve started two TVHM playthroughs, but I also still have Normal games to finish. I haven’t touched Proving Grounds yet.
I’m on my 7th playthrough (4th normal, and 3 TVHM on 4 different characters) and I still enjoy running around killing mob and bosses. That’s what the game is about.
Only annoying thing are cinematics
How is it “dead”? lol
This topic is very constructive and engaging.
Geez somebody call the whaaambulance…
Play other games. I’m having a great time in Borderlands 3.
For variety. Curb-stomping bosses and slaughter shaft gets boring after a while.
They have a finite beginning and end as well as an in-built timer so you can challenge yourself to beat your own time. It’s amusing for a while.
I enjoyed the story very much, Proving Grounds are fun but they need better rewards, I havent played much CoS yet. The game is far frome dead, mayby you burned yourself out?
Well i’m still having a blast on my 5th play through. So far i have done Amara, Moze and Zane to 50 on normal. Now doing FL4K through normal, and swaping between that and Amara on TVHM, whilst also farming on Moze and Amara on NMH3…Poor Zane is left in the dust though for now lol.
Total play time so far across all characters is something like 9days? with a full time job to
Wow look its someone making a completely false statement that the game is dead…just because you dont play the game anymore doesnt mean its dead. Thats like saying Fortnite is dead because 100 people stopped playing it lol…
yes, and Destiny 2 is dead i don’t play it anymore, WoW is dead too i’ve not been on in over a year. Diablo 3 died a couple of months ago, around the same time i stopped playing it. what’s fortnite everyone is talking about? never played it so it doesn’t exist at all.
ok, i’ll try to be more serious. if it’s dead and stale for you, to bad for you i guess. it was just not meant to be.
i personally enjoy borderlands 3 now as i did on day one, possibly even more now when i have leveled up each VH and get to experiment with different builds.
Borderlands 3 is dead in a way that, there is nothing to do in this game, proving grounds was a bloody joke i tought the 6 trails should open the real deal. And progression what is that ? Guardian ranks? Is that all you do… at least borderlands 2 had that feeling of free roaming open worlder and so on, good story so a new game wasnt any issue. But here in 3d installment they made huge maps with nothing in it, the story is so bad! Joke gun with acc -100000 with a fire rate at 1200 somebody at gearbox forget to letgo of the trigger. So the story it self is infekted by a jokes. Guns with no base dmg, broken skill trees, performance issues. Lv design is bad, map design is even worst then pre sequel. Gameplay and graphics is the only thing that they iproved so far, music is the same. The rest is kind of meh… this is bad! Dont get tricked by the name! Like love can makes you blind…
Way to be over dramatic as ■■■■ but this game has more content in it at launch than BL2 did, not to mention BL2 was also a mess at the start. Im also pretty sure there were and still are skills in BL2 that dont work entirely as they are intended. Im not entirely sure if you mean broken skill trees like OP or broken like they don’t work. Also the story being bad, bad level design and other stuff is purely your opinion. I actually thing the map design in BL3 is quite good, I also had no problems with TPS outside of a few things and a lack of content. I don’t deny the performance issues, although I really only have menu lag. Also I think I may of had a stroke trying to read half of what you typed…although I can understand if English isnt your primary language…
yeah see i don’t understand what people mean by BL2 had so much better sense of exploration… each map were fairly small and empty very empty apart from stuff to kill and rare spawns. this game have much bigger zones, with enemy bases and collectibles, sure - there’s not much other than collectibles to find, but it’s still more than what BL2 had to offer.
i spent more time off the beaten path, exploring in BL3 than in BL2… while i did not find much hidden stuff in either of games, BL3 atleast had typhon logs and other crew assignments… which is fairly good EXP boost while leveling too.
i generally found BL3s zone much more enjoyable to explore aswell.
Dudes got a point, I mean when you really size 3 up… it is sort of garbage.
Sorry but that is incorrect. “Proving Grounds” IS the mode, so yes, “is” was absolutely correct, and “are” is incorrect. If it was “The proving grounds” then yes, the correct word would have been “are”. However, the mode is called “Proving Grounds”. If a mode is called “Slayer” you say “Slayer is a fun mode.” If the mode is called “Proving Grounds” you say “Proving Grounds is a fun mode” (NOT “Proving Grounds are a fun mode”). The original commenter was correct, and ironically your attempt at correcting him is incorrect. English is fun like that. The language has some of the most complex reading and writing comprehension requirements of most languages though, so it’s understandable. I hope you have a wonderful week!
edit: thanks for the correction benz!
