Why isn't Shift Code working on xbox 360

Recently i’ve been playing Borderlands 2 and it won’t let me log in to Shift Code, why is that?

Do you mean that you can’t access the SHiFT system from the in-game Extras menu, or that you can but it won’t accept SHiFT key codes? There’s no “login” as such in BL2.

I’ve heard that XBOX Live Gold is needed for using shift codes.

Well, you need an XBox Live account, but I’m not sure you need gold? Original details posted here. Note that I already had a gold account when SHiFT came out, so I don’t know what happens if you only have a regular one.

I don’t remember, but I read that a gold account is required…

Yes and Xbox Live Gold Membership / PSN Network account or Steam account is required in order to use Shift.

Did you pay for your Xbox Live Subscription (meaning Gold) or not pay for it (meaning Silver)? If you don’t have a paid Xbox Live Subscription (Gold), you cannot use Shift Codes in Borderlands 2. If you do have a paid Xbox Live Subscription (Gold) and cannot use Shift Codes in Borderlands 2, then you should probably open a ticket with Support.

Did you link your Shift account to your Xbox Live Account (Under Gaming Platforms)? You have to do that before you can redeem Shift Codes in Borderlands 2.
