The Joys Of Grinding As A Fragtrap

Fragtrap is my first ever character on Elpis, I was skeptic at first using him to play solo because the most useful skill tree at the start revolves mainly on being a support character.

After using him for quite a while and finally getting to 60, I discovered the Iwajira and how with the right skill build and weapons, you can pretty much handle him solo to continuously grind moonstones and loot to sell for massive amounts of dough.

This by far is the most I’ve gotten hooked on TPS, tweaking my build fight after fight, optimizing, calibrating, discovering a perfect strat to handle Iwajira and shopfarming the vending machine for the ideal weapons, shields and mods.

This moment right now, trying to farm level 60 purples either from drops or grinding level 60 blues, storing them in my bank that has been recently maxed out on storage space and waiting until it’s filled with level 60 purple weapons then doing the same thing until my maxed out inventory space is also full before i get to grind all of them for the chance to get level 60 legendaries.

Ah… I even stopped playing DOTA 2 or Bloodborne just to try and see if I could whip me up some legendaries this week through constant grinding Iwajira and checking the shops for any random legendary of the day.

Ah… Bliss.

You don’t have any mules?
You know other characters that you only use for inventory space. Using either the secret stash, or split screen, to trade items between characters.
I have one mule per rarity, purples on one, legendary on another.

Yeah, on PS3 at least, each network profile can have up to 52 characters on it.

That’s a LOT of mules!

But yeah a few months ago when I did my first ever full solo TPS character (Aurelia, up to 63, and after that Wilhelm and Clappy up to 55 each, had already gotten Nisha, Jack and Athena up to 50 in coop) and finally discovered the wonders of the grinder, it was HEAVEN, and I’ve become quite obsessed with it since then!

Meh, Ironically, I for one think that’d take too much effort, and I’m fine with grinding the stuff that I’m able to accumulate with just one character.

Fragtrap is my main character too. I tend to play the white mage type characters so he’s perfect for me

I’ve been doing Iwajira > Grinder > Sentinel > Grinder > Felicity > Grinder > Save/Quit/Restart cycles. Thinking about that, shouldn’t you be able to do Sentinel > Grinder > Invincible Sentinel > Grinder also? (Does cost you moonstones, though.)
