Just finished Pt.2 Destroyer with Lilith. Ran out of pretty much everything in the process. I had a tiny sliver left to take off, which I was attempting to do with my remaining 6 rockets, when another round of tentacles spawned. Dang! FFYL.

Back in again, and now all I have is an Eridian Canon, which does diddley-squat and can’t hit a moving target. Argh! Fortunately, I remember that one of my assault rifles has ammo regeneration. Then I thought, “Hey, I have at least one SMG and Revolver with regent also!” Except, I’d put them in the bank because they were such low level.

So I basically just finished off a level 54 Destroyer with a level 28 GRO Incendiary Guardian, with the killing shot from a level 44 101010 Cannon. There are only two things to say to that:

  1. Only in BL1 could you take down an enemy with a weapon 25+ levels lower
  2. Remind me not to do that again…

Do it again. It’ll build character and make your liver stronger so you can drink more vodka to forget what you did.

Least favorite part of the game for sure.

Pt2 destroyer sucks because it’s scaled to your level, so if you do side quests etc… You 'll likely be mid 50s by the he end of the story, do Destroyer will be 58ish, but all your weapons will be <48.

Without ammo regen it’s a really tedious fight, second only to Mad Mel in terribleness.

Haha yea I used my lvl 37 Detonating Hammer and mky lvl 40-something Hellfire untill I was lvl 69 and they remained useful till the end.
