Mission guns and OP levels?

Sorry for the ultra super noobish question, but I’m just a little confused and want to make sure of something before I actually do it.

I’m currently at OP 5 and I’m running through the DLC to get the sandhawk smg. My only question is this: If I get it at OP 5, how do I go back and get it again when I’m OP 6, 7, or 8?

You would have to either reset your entire playthru, or trade with someone in the Trades section of the forum for your platform.
