So blastmaster Moze post nerf

So after the so called grenade nerf i’ve noticed that the regeneration of grenades was pretty much unchanged but ammo regen is now so bad that it makes this class mod sorta useless. You already had to go 70 seconds without reloading to get the extra 100% splash damage, now if you are surrounded by enemies you really don’t have a chance in heck of regenerating ammo on lower mag sized weapons at any decent rate. Meanwhile grenades are still exactly the same honestly. Sorta missed the mark with this one. If you wanted to make diversity then making people use bloodletter even more seems a bit silly.

Agreed. The secondary nerf casualty to gun ammo regen was deflating. I was really looking forward to playing Blast Master. Everyone is hung up in SoR builds…

I will still try Blast build but bad move on Gbx. These hidden secondary nerfs grow tiresome.

They were in such a hurry to nerf grenade regen that they ruined gun ammo and still didn’t really do anything to grenades as long as you don’t toss like an idiot lol

I got one of these today with +30% grenade damage, +10% torgue damage and 25% tediore speed, with a plus 1 to Redistribution. If I want to regen ammo, I really need to go heavy into the Bottomless Mags tree for extra mag size and ignore the Shield of Ret tree completely.

If you really want to play that, then on the contrary, something like Scourge is all you need. You only need it to have 1 ammo piece to not reload and that’s easy because you get one every 2 seconds.

You can keep shooting it every 2 seconds just fine, heck maybe even something like emptying it asap to 0 ammo then shooting it every 2 seconds the moment 1 ammo is regenerated might work too. Sure it says it consumes 4 ammo per shot, but you can shoot it when it has only 1 ammo total as well.
