I already wondered where all the shift keys were then learned recently that they have such a short lifetime that I usually miss em due to work and sleep cycle. So it already punishes all the people who are not online 24/7 with an open alt-tab to various gearbox related media-sites.

And I refuse to change MY life for things like this. Loss is on gearbox I think (depends what they actually want to achieve with these decisions)

GEARBOX EMPLOYEE 2: Oh, damn. Ok, let’s give 'em some SHIFT codes for Golden Keys. Least we can do, right?

EMP1: Good call. So, like, a whole bunch of them, and they never need to expire, right?

EMP2: Nah. Two, maybe three, a week, and they’ll expire in 2-5 hours. Our players love to be challenged, right?

I wonder why they even post these codes. It’s not like you would get INSANE weapons. I get more and better gear with farming bosses or slaughter with less effort.

I used a trainer to check the items you can get with keys (I really just checked I didn’t pick up a single item) and mostly got trash.

I am not watching his stupid twitter, he probably thinks that the USA is the only place in the world that plays Borderlands, I have no chance to even get one of these codes while I work or sleep.

I have gotten a few Legendary items from the Golden Chest to be fair, which I am fairly certain wasn’t possible in previous games.

Also the reason the codes are posted at the times they are posted is because they are all based in the USA. They would have to be up at crazy early times in the morning where they live just so they can post a SHiFT Code I guess.

Getting a code for keys is like getting mission udates from Mission Impossible.

Ohhh darn it! The code expired before I got to even log in.
I guess we’ll have sit and watch Twitter like a dog next to the dinner table waiting for a scrap of food to fall on the floor.
