Okay just trying to make sure, but there is no way to transfer weapons to another character on Steam version is there?? By yourself i mean obviously.
Requires 3rd party tool stuff so yes, no method is provided by STEAM or GBX.
Unless you can convince it to allow you to splitscreen with the character you want to swap/transfer to that is.
i’m guessing that would require two copies of the game seeing on how steam doesn’t allow you to run the same game twice

There is also Willowtree. There’s a locker component of the program. Load in one toon and move stuff into the locker, load in second toon and move items into backpack.
No offense, but sounds like a personal thing. It would depend on the person, I guess. If the person wants to use it, let them. If not, that’s fine. They know themselves better than anybody, so I’ll leave it to them. For me, the thought has barely entered my mind.

[/quote]None taken, I just know that temptation will most likely happen and if someone gives in it’ll likely cheapen the feeling of finding awesome stuff the “regular” way so I generally advise not to use it.
Of course ultimately it isn’t my decision to make so if they choose to use it that’s their choice and I won’t hold it against them unless a negative change seems to have happened that could be directly related (starting to complain about low quality drops much more vocally and/or in manner much more aggressive than before).
@Raptchur: If you want a quick and easy way to swap loot between character you could use Willowtree# but like I said it could cheapen the feeling of finding rare loot if you decide to use it for more than a quick item swapper between characters.
Okay so i played the crap out of BL2 on xbox. I mean i had everything and farmed for idk how many days of gameplay. Sold my xbox. Was telling my friend (months later) how it was probably the best game i’ve ever played and that she needs to play it badly. Well she bought it on Steam at the beginning of the year because of that sale. I thought well i have to get it now, she needs guidance lol, and i greatly missed it. Well i didn’t feel like farming all over again because like i said, i had everything. So i downloaded gibbed, got her to also. It all but ruined the game for me and gave her a horrible representation of what that game was all about. I regret it more than you can imagine. So basically what i’m trying to say is there is no risk that i would do that again. I am having tons of fun farming on this game now. The hunt is what it’s all about for me. But i really really need a quick easy way to get stuff from one toon to the other.
I’m freaking weird, ocd i guess you could say. I want to play on my Lilith but the Steel Anarchy i have on her (lvl 68 HX 530, 233x4, 13.8 fire rate 54 mag size) has a scope. And i absolutely hate scopes on the Anarchy. Well i found one with Roland yesterday (lvl 68 HX 440, 233x4, 13.8 fr, 82 mag size) and no scope. I don’t even want to load her character until she has that on her lolol. I told you i’m weird.

Only bearable scope on Anarchy’s is either none or sight1 (the lens) really. Scope 5 ruined my perfect Desert Anarchy that I found a short while ago.
Yeah see i would have no problem with that and my friend i mentioned earlier is how i was doing it but her cpu basically blew up. I haven’t been on Steam too long and have not looked for people to play with at all. And yeah the whole trust thing like you said, i’ve been burned in the past.
The one i found before had like 4. something zoom lol. It was dumb. As you are obviously going to be close to enemies while using the Anarchy, you really don’t want zoom. I almost never aimed to sights with it. With this new one i found, I aim up to sights a lot and i can tell it increases accuracy a little. I was so happy to find it. I stared at it in the chest for awhile before picking it up lol.
Ironic really, the most inaccurate SMG still has a chance at spawning with the highest quality zoom SMG’s can have.
