So I personally think the 2 second re-activate time is gonna ruin the skill but I was wondering what the community thought?
It doesn’t do enough to keep it imo. I put the 3 points in Second Intention which buffs reload speed upon a kill. We will be doing A LOT more reloading now. Reloading in GitM which makes it even worse. They hit him hard. This is way worse than the GitM nerf imo. But the two combined just makes it an okay augment with most guns. Only reason i’m still using GitM at all is because i love the Bekah so much.
But yeah as far as LnT… They killed it. Next to nothing effect in most situations. Maybe if i’m using nothing but a Stagecoach or Jakobs sniper.
It’s in all seriousness one off the worst points investments in the game now IMO.
Ruined the skill? Pretty much ruined the game for me. This is SO disappointing.
My favorite part of playing Fl4k was getting repeated headshots and having a 60% bigger mag if they landed (class mod adds 2 to LnT). It was challenging but rewarding, and they just ruined it. Used to be a gearbox fan, not anymore.
It is objectively useless with anything BUT single shot Jakobs shotguns. And even for them it is incomparably weaker than it was before.
I mean they didn’t just nerf it from overpowered to mediocre, they nerfed it from being one of the best mag size skills in the franchise (behind Elemental Barrage, Absolute Advantage and 5SO6) to one of the very worst (basically Ranger tier).

Yeah I’m pretty upset with it, my first play through was with Fl4k and since LnT was a tier 1 with so much impact it felt nice while leveling up. And then once you got some nice guns late game it became a skill that gives power to all these different guns that would be just alright otherwise. And it felt justifiable strong end game and with all the nerfs this is just the last nail in the coffin for Fl4k.
Exactly! That’s what i’ve been arguing to a lot of the people that say we Flak users are crying over the nerfs and he was too op. I am very happy i at least had that skill while leveling. Started him just in time i guess. If you don’t play him you can’t understand. This nerfs affects so many of his other skills and augments too
LoL Bl2 Maya is my main and just love all the builds you can go with her in OP levels. Nurse/Legendary/Binder/Cat, she can be crowd control, a sniper, or just wreck. She can’t one shot kill bosses, but she holds her own well enough.
On the subject, it should have been reduced to 1/sec and I think it would make it a somewhat viable skill. It won’t make it OP but more sniper/shotty builds can spec in it with decent results.
Just make it per shot rather than per pellet. That was the main aspect that was making it over powered.
Per shot wouldnt kill its usefulness for the vast number of gun that the 2 sec cooldown does. But it would cut down the crazy ammo return for high pellet count guns

Honestly, I think in good ol’ Borderlands fashion they should fix things that are crazy OP like the Unforgiven one shot stuff. And leave the things that are really strong and just let people choose WHICH OP setup they want to use. Borderlands was always about feeling powerful and there has always been “THE Builds”, but what if everyone was balanced in the fact that they are OP together. This is like the one game that it could work cause there is no Competitive mode.

I agree for sure. We should feel especially powerful vs. what is available endgame now anyways since there is no raid content
