Shock assault rifle

Hey guys I was looking for advice on a good shock assault rifle. I currently have a shock veruc however I’m not too keen and would like to farm for something else. My character is a lv 72 gaige anarchy build I have pretty much every other variety of weapon covered would just like a better shock rifle any ideas?

For Gaige, you can never go wrong with a Hail. It’s a quest reward for beating round 5 of the bandit Circle of Slaughter in the Fridge. If you don’t mind dashboard farming, you can get yourself a nice shock Hail and own everything with it once you learn it’s arced fire pattern. Another option would be the Lead Storm from the Seraph vendor in the Hammerlock DLC. It shoots a slightly arced bullet that then splits into three after a certain distance. Without Anarchy, the Lead Storm will be better, with high Anarchy, the Hail will be better.

My shock rifles are as follows (per allegiance build and my odd rule sets):
Dahl: minigun (does quite well, but really needs a Dahl allegiance relic and some of Axton’s skills to shine - hard to find as well).
Bandit: BlASSter (Yeah, it’s e-tech, and in UVHM, won’t do much for you without some OP buffs)
Vladof: Kitten (relatively easy “farm” too).

Seriously though, I agree with @ACNAero; the Hail gets my vote.

Thanks for the answers I think I’ve got a shock hail in the safe in sanctuary just never took the time to learn to use it properly. I think I’m gonna have to ask in the trade forum see if anyone has got a bandit blassster too I remember using that one in the doc mercy mission and it tore stuff up totally forgot about it till u mentioned the name

Don’t go Bandit. If you want a Blaster, go with Vladof.

Right now I main a shock Rapid Shreddifier on her- I just used Maya to get a shock Hail so I might compare the two…

I’m a fan of the Kitten in shock, for Gaige. Works well for me!

Yeah, heads up, @WookinAwesome; if you go find an on-level Bandit shock BlASSter, I’m not even sure it’ll take out an enemy’s shield in UVHM. :grimacing: I mean, if you find one, bring it to the field and see how it does for yourself. BlASSters aren’t liked by a lot of forum members for a reason (and that shock Hail has a lot more going for it).

Thanks for the replies again guys I’m gonna give the hail a go and also gonna have a blast thro the dlc for the kitten I remember havin one on the 360 with her don’t think it was shock tho.

I concur with most of the opinions on the Hail and the Kitten. The Hail is probably stronger, but the Kitten is easier to use. What is also great about them is that both are Moxxi weapons, so they both have minor lifesteal when they are equipped.
