Gibbed editor question

I know this might be against the rules but I’m willing to take my chances. I decided to try and use the gibbed editor for an axton op8 save rather than bothering anybody for help on op levels (ps3 by the way) and whenever I go to decrypt the save instead of a number it has the letter A or B. Maybe this is the games way to say don’t be lazy? Please help… Unless this gets closed :frowning:

Topics like this have a mighty short shelf life here- you might want to seek other pastures…

Unfortunately this isn’t an approved topic (save editing). Expect the thread to be closed :crying_cat_face:

Long story short I do believe it has to do with the editor doing something wrong and the game noticed.

No its not the editor it has something to do with the saves Im creating… I only know that much but you’re right I do expect any minute now by kitty_Jo. I do understand the implications but why don’t they support modding for this game .

It’s not that they don’t support modding, it’s just that save editing is against console ToS and they don’t approve of making saves.
Those fall under “bad” modding while “good” modding would be like what happened for BL1 (Oasis map and Crow’s Nest and unique player made weapons like those made in this thread)

It breaks the TOS for consoles.

Because haters gonna hate. XP

I see a closed thread over here.

Because it is prohibited by the console terms of service and use.

Why we don’t allow the discussion of these topics relating to PC is a mystery to me, tho.

Because there are other things that can be done with “voldemort.exe”.

None of which are specifically prohibited by Steam like they are on console.

Would be quite ironic though.

OT: is PunkBuster still active?

A little advice. If you think something is against the rules, don’t post it. Maybe PM someone, preferably a moderator, and ask.
And maybe give the rules a read through?
And modding will never be supported on console. That is not Gearboxes decision. That is Microsoft and Sonys choice
