How do I remove an Action Skill?

I’m trying to remove an action skill so that I can use my grenades again, but there isn’t a remove button anywhere and when I try to drag the skill off, it just says “cannot unequip”. The only other way that has worked for me before was just respeccing, but does anyone know of a way to do it without going back to sanctuary? Thanks

What system are you on?
It is possible, and you may need to watch your screen closely. Click on the skill, then look in the clutter for an option to unequip it.
It is 100% possible, done in a clunky way that is poorly documented.

You do not need to Respecc.
