Hey there Boyo!
So you want to use the clone as your main damage source? you dont like killing yourself and want your clone to do all the work?
Then THIS Tier List is for you! which weapon performs the best on the clone is hard to figure out, thats why I want to help out and make it a little easier.
For a more detailed and in-depth look at the Clone and his gear interaction please check out this Forum Post by @flightx3aa : Clone/Double Barrel Damage Guide + Formula!
This Tier List ONLY focuses on guns used by your clone and how much damage and DPS they can deal effectively and nothing else!
The AI on Zane’s clone is a mess, and to figure out which guns are usable and which one aren’t is a hell of a lot of work.
I want to spare you the process of doing hours of testing and share with you my findings.
I keep this list updated with each hot fix!

- this list might highly vary for other difficulties. I only focus on high level endgame content here.
-
just because a gun is not in the tier you might want to see them in or think diffrently about, does NOT mean in any way that the gun has to be “bad” or is"worse" than others.
The most important thing is, if YOU like a weapon just go ahead and use it! just because a godtier weapon for you is just in B rather than in S where its dps might place it, might be due to other reasons, like beeing more difficult to use or have AI problems. PLEASE keep this in mind and feel free to talk to me about it!
- I always try to test the best parts possible. Sometimes a gun is better than it might seem thanks to specific weapons parts or “keyword” such as double penetrating, giving some guns x2 bullets and therefore basically double their damage. -
Tier description and their meaning
God Tier: These guns make your clone carry you on M10 without any drawback or requirement
S Tier: These guns are extremely potent for all the hardest content in the game
A+ Tier: These are mostly “weaker” versions of similar S Tier guns, but even then they can be used to great effect for all content
A Tier: this is the basic stuff you want to have for a solid clone experience with no to little drawback and have a easy time with the game
B Tier: These guns potentially still deal God Tier damage, but they often need to be positioned in the right way either close or far away from enemys, or have some charge up time to be useful
C Tier: these are mostly gimmicks guns that either benefit the gun to make it here, or are potential S Tier weapons that are just greatly hindred by their gimmick on the clone
D Tier: these are the guns that still CAN function on the clone and most of the time just have nothing special about them
E Tier: thse probably have some issues, like a bad gimmick or really bad stats
F Tier: These guns are activily bad and HURT your gameplay experience or have massiv anti synergy with the clone. DO NOT USE THEM! -
Recently untested guns are
crossed out!
DLC ONLY Tier List
DLC5 "Arms Race" Tier List
God Tier
/
S Tier
- Plasma Coil - Its an extremely high powered gun! it fires its burst fast and often, and each bullet on its own is enough to kill most small enemys. However, the projectile speed is a bit low, so it can miss sometimes. And the bullets fired almost seem like overkill on the clone, where 2-3 bullets kill the enemys, and 14 bullets just fly into the sky… First world problems I guess huh? ^^
- Tizzy - my only complaint would be that enemies just die to fast to see the full power of this gun. It fires extremely fast*(still has some interrupts sadly)* for super high DPS, but enemies die before even fully charged. Because each new enemy, each new target swap, resets the firerate for the clone almost always, and the early shots dont deal toooo much damage in the beginning.
A Tier
- Boogeyman - good firerate, good damage, pricise, and overall really good gun. The Boogeyman skulls deal pretty insane Damage when they connect, but most of the time they are way to slow to get many hits in, they also tend to fly into the clone (bugged?). but on its own the gun is already pretty good with some upside! AND its fun!
-
Dark Army - whats better than giving your clone your weapon? Giving him FOUR of your weapons! This gun DOES work on the clone(almost!), he WILL spawn 3 extra guns orbiting him, BUT they will never get elemental damage, since tediore reloads on the clone just dont exiost at all.
And with all the crazy Ideas you guys and I myself had… it makes me almost a little sad to say that the damage of this gun isn’t all to great really… it does get the job done decently, and you can definitly meme with this gun. but as a single gun on the clone it is “only” really good.
B Tier
- Trickshot - this gun, with the clones pinpoint accuracy just instantly kills mobs after the first shot landed! thats the only little issue though, the first shot HAS TO connect, which ofcourse can miss from time to time. it also has no element making it not ideal in all situations
C Tier
-
Hotfood Teddy - The Nukor… ehm, I mean… Teddy is a really fun to use meme gun. it can clear clumped up groups of enemys decently fast, but the single target damage is severely lackluster.
its fun to use and it looks cool, but it is not very strong - Firefly - the Projectilespeed is just too low, it is really hard for the clone to actaully hit damage. if it hits, damage is good, but not overwhelming, the little fireflys also dont deal to much damage.
D Tier
- Critical Thug - low dps, clone doesn’t crit very consistantly, explosions only deal okayish damage for its fire rate. no elements
E Tier
/
F Tier
- Binary Operator - This gun straight up does not work on Mayhem 10(11), so dont use ever… I could end it here, but before you get triggered and say there must be a way surely! yes, there might be… I didn’t even try to make it work though, BECAUSE you can also just torn mayhem to like 4 or even turn it off… THEN the gun works… and it then behaves EXACTLY like it would on mayhem 11, because it either kills or it doesn’t… so would it even be worth it to make it work on M11? No… no its not… I tried… the fire rate is slow, the projectile is slow, it misses more shots than it lands, yes it WOULD oneshot every enemy… but come on guys… most of our guns do… so even IF it would kill easier, it would still only place in mayyybe B or C Tier… therefore, just dont bother.
DLC4 Tier List
God Tier
- Blood-Starved Beast - insane firerate and magazine, base damage is somewhat low, but the insane fire rate and added exposions more than make up for it. its like a weird hybrid of a light show and skeksil which also is pretty accurate and comes in all elements.
- Rebound - Its insanely strong, it fires rediculously fast, penetrates enemys and returns for double damage, this can really shred through any enemy. it does have a hard capped imited range. but everything inside this range, just melts.
S Tier
- Septimator Prime - extremely high damage, precise and high rate of fire. Meteor doesn’t seem to deal a lot of damage
- Prompt Critical - really solid damage, fire rate is okay, and even comes in elements, its basically an upgraded better devils forsum
A Tier
- Blind Sage - It is a legendary high damage Shockwave with upside whats not to love? I personally can’t see any projectiles on kill though. I still like frequency more, which just deals way more damage
- Sawpenny - okay fire rate, okay damage, its the weak version of the rebound
- Ashen Beast - its a weaker blood starved beast, still okay
B Tier
- Convergence - it deals very good damage, but has a slow fire rate. you need a x8 though
- Major Kong - ehhhh… what? a homing rocket that deals over 100 milion damage, yet it is only in b tier? well yes. after some more testing I feel like the charge up time takes WAY to long, and to projectile 50% of the time just wanders of to space and hits nothing… really sad, but if it hits, it huts dude.
C Tier
- Lovable Rogue - WHEN he finally reloads its pretty fun and it does work well, homing projectiles deal alot of damage, but the base damage and fire rate are pretty low. I’d say the lower your magazin the better this gun becomes on the clone
- Minor Kong -major kongs little brother and a taste what is about to come
D Tier

E Tier
/
F Tier
- P.A.T. MK. III - its a tediore, not only that, but the projectile speed is extremely low making it even worse
- P.A.T. MK. II - worse Mk. III
DLC3 Tier List
God Tier
- Beacon - Increadible dps, high fire rate, high damage, accurate long range, all elements, Hellshock on steroids. PLUS it explodes on reload for massiv damage
- Gargoyle - its the Corrosive NoPewpew. Really good dps, rediculous against robots! but powerful even on non-robots. sadly it still only comes in corrosive, otherwise it would probably be the best weapon in the game.
- Complex Root - its like a nothingness/Flakker that is easier to hit but has a little more rng and still only medium range
- Light Show - it melts targets at low range, but the damage is high enough that even at medium range the damage is good
S Tier
- Flipper - even with bad AI firing, this gun still does work and packs a punch
A Tier
- Frequency - its a Shockwave on steroids, after a kill or two this thing wrecks through mobs with multipe bursts of shockwave
- Dowsing Rod - okay fire rate, good damage, nothing special
B Tier
- Spade - Really fun to use and satisfying sound. you can’t use it close range (unless shock + transformer ofc) but the damage is really good. quick sidenote: probably one of the best weapons (when double pentrating) to use yourself in a clone centric build. reload after every shot(grenade spam) and double dipping while aiming for the ground behind an enemy.
- Bloom - it deals very high damage, and the clone uses this gun perfectly, charging it up (makes it kinda slow) and then release and reload its quickly to charge again and insta kills any enemy
- Unkempt Herold -IF it hits juuust right, its insane, otherwise it feels pretty underwhelming for its legacy…
- Chandelier - good damage, low fire rate
C Tier
- Stonethrower - okay fire rate, okay damage, effect is rarely happening. its the clairvoyance just from dlc3
- Contained Blast - damage would be good, but sadly it is fired slowly, and the stickys take to long to exlode.
- Miscreant - sadly can’t use the double barrel, basemode has slow projectiles and relativly mediocre damage.
D Tier
- Satisfaction - not very Satisfying. low damage and fire rate for some reason
- Proprietary Licence - low firerate and damage
- Robin’s Call - its a basic shotgun, it does some damage and has low range, low fire rate
E Tier
- Plumage - the clone cant use the homing effect, even if you yourself used a tracker. so with its random rocket pattern, it is not very useful
- Brightside - really low damage, low fire rate, tediore throws dont work on the clone.
F Tier
- Mother too - this again would be SO good with a good AI… even the small first tick does 1m damage… but… its a laser…
- Narp - extremly low base damage and anti-synergy with the clone since he cant reload early
- The Blanc - the clone fires it semi-auto for some reason, can’t use the gimmick, low damage make it terrible.
DLC2 Tier List
God Tier
/
S Tier
- Anarchy*(fixed!)* - the clone DOES get anarchy stacks now! fire rate is still meh and base damage is low. BUT! if you give it enough time to ramp up it is immensly strong! its not a good bossing gun, but is increadible for any speed runs, trials, or take downs. If you lose the clone somehow though you will be extremely sad. luckily there is no inherit self damage, since tediore reloads still do nothing on the clone (yay I guess?)
- Seeryul Killur - its no nopewpew but it IS pretty close, it needs to ramp up through kills, and after a kill it can hold its own pretty well and even shred through fire resitent enemys.
- Soulrender - amazing fun gun to use, shoots fast, hits hard and the skulls do a lot of work!
A Tier
/
B Tier
- Insider - Extremly high damage, but low fire rate.
C Tier
- Hydra Frost - after a kill this gun is actually pretty good dps wise, BUT it needs to get that kill first, which is tricky sometimes
- Clairvoyance - okay fire rate, okay damage, effect rarely happens
D Tier
- skullmasher - low fire rate sadly, good damage still
- Unseen Threat - sadly the clone does not crit all to often, therefore this is mostly a normal sniper with good base damage
- Lovedrill - Low damage and fire rate, can’t crit reliably and the gimmick is to small of an effect
- Oldridian - meh fire rate, meh damage, the element change isn’t a benefit either.
E Tier
- Cocky Bastard - its a normal sniper and therefore bad on the clone
- Little Yeeti - meh fire rate, good damage, but the knock back makes the gun actively bad on the clone and harder to hit enemys
F Tier
- Stauros’ Burn - The clone will immediatly kill itself when set on fire ^^ I THINK what is happening is that the self burn scales with action skill damage resulting in the clone immediatly disapearing after self burn. DO NOT USE! HOT HOT!
- Frozen Devil - its a laser.
- SF Force - could be so good… sadly its a Laser…
- Mutant - its a laser.
FULL Weapon Tier List of ALL Guns in the Game and their Rating!
FULL Weapon Tier List
God Tier These guns make your clone carry you on M10
- Trevonator - (buffed) Trevonator is BACK boyo! and it REALLY IS! Where in the past I compared it to Crossroads… I now dare to say that it not only challenges Sandhawk, but even surpasses it! it fires faster, has a slightly tighter spread and better pettern, and while the base damage still is lower in melee range, I think in overall usefulness this gun KILLS it now! + it deals Splash damage! so if you scale it right, this thing DESTROYS and I love it! ++ it actually has surpsingly high status damage aswell. +++ its the best freeze weapon if you want to freeze everything forever always if it somehow doesn’t explode in milliseconds. its Beacon+Sandhawk in one weapon.
- Beacon - Increadible dps, high fire rate, high damage, accurate long range, all elements, Hellshock on steroids. PLUS it explodes on reload for massive damage
- Sandhawk - slow-ish projectile speed, but inf medium to close range the damage is insane, comes in all elements and is therefore extremely versatile and only requires the base game, you can always get this!
- Blood-Starved Beast - insane firerate and magazine, base damage is somewhat low, but the insane fire rate and added exposions more than make up for it. its like a weird hybrid of a light show and skeksil which also is pretty accurate and comes in all elements.
- Light Show - it melts targets at low range, but the damage is high enough that even at medium range where not all projectiles hit the damage is incredible
These guns all come in all elements, have top tier stats in all regards, and works extremely well on the clone even with its AI!
- Backburner - this is one of my favorite toys! its incredibly fun and satisfiying to use! it does all you want on the clone in one package! it destroys small enemys and it CCs them and forces them to the ground (and even some mini bosses) and the tiny vulcanic explosions deal SO much damage to everything its rediculous!
- Plaguebearer - When Lump and Scourge make a baby! Its Basically just a better scourge overall, it does about double the damage and clears a whole hallway with a single shot!
These are the two best launchers to use on the clone, they clear single High health enemys and crowds of enemys extremely quickly, just pick what you prefere most!
-
Grease Trap - The Grease Trap is the only real gun in the game where it benefits you IMMENSLY that the clone always only fires the main firemode. IF you give your clone this gun, and use the secondary firemode yourself to spray enemys with its debuff, the grease trap clone will ANNIHILATE really ANY enemy in the game. it destroys worlds. this Is the one-two punch combo for you and your clone! it still deservse to be in God tier despite the fact that you DO need to work with your clone together and… shoot yourself… ugh!
… and can’t just go AFK, but if you use it to its full potential it is definitly the most damaging gun in the game! and still has enough damage to clear trash mobs on its own.
- Anarchy (fixed!) - the clone DOES get anarchy stacks now! fire rate is still meh and base damage is low. BUT! if you give it enough time to ramp up it is immensly strong! its not a good pure bossing gun, but it is insane for fast mobbing! it is incredible for any speed run, trials, slaughter shaft or takedown. If you lose the clone somehow though you will be extremely sad since the ramp up does need some time. luckily there is no inherit self damage, since tediore reloads still do nothing on the clone. (yay I guess?) If you are a speedy boy and clear stuff fast, this is your best friend!
These are the honorable mention of God Tier! and the most damaging and probably strongest guns in the game you can use in conjunction with your clone! but you need to work for it!
- O.P.Q. System - shoots fast and precise, damage is extremly high, Long range. Amazing for mobbing AND bossing. I mean, it is IN the name… its OP, even at character lvl 65 it was still top tier at lvl 57… now that we have it at 72… its busted.
- Hellwalker - After the buffs it is just godlike now, nothing else to say. due to its relaod after every shot it fires extremly fast and now even at range hits for over 1M-2M per bullet hit, and is just stupid close up. I love it! (now if just grenades where good)
- Plasma Coil - Its an extremely high powered gun! it fires its burst fast and often, and each bullet on its own is enough to kill most small enemys. However, the projectile speed is a bit low, so it can miss sometimes. And the bullets fired almost seem like overkill on the clone, where 2-3 bullets kill the enemys, and 14 bullets just fly into the sky… First world problems I guess huh? ^^
- Ember’s Purge - It has a 10% chance on hit to insta kill everything. when the Fire puddle spawns it deals millions of damage in an AoE over time and this on a very fast firing super high damage gun.
- NoPewPew - it MELTS any fleshy target! even shreds through other armor types.
- Gargoyle - its a Corrosive NoPewpew with skeksil rockets. extremely good dps, rediculous against armored enemys! but powerful even on shields and flesh. sadly it still only comes in corrosive, otherwise it would probably be the best gun in the game
These Guns are incredible and can out perfom other guns in God Tier, but they are limited by the fact that they only come in Fire, Shock or Corrosive respectively
S Tier the extremely good stuff
- Skeksil - Versatile thanks to it coming in the 3 main elements , shoots fast and precise, and adds 1-3 tiny rockets for even more damage. if you would only get three rockets all the time it does probably the most dps out of all burst fire pistols and smgs, it can self damage the clone, but after the clone hp buffs, this drawback really isnt a big deal anymore. This is the best starting gun! An insanely strong gun I recommend on every new Zane, you can get it extremely easy at around level 10!
- Complex Root - its like a nothingness/Flakker that is easier to hit and has way more focused hits! but has a little more rng and still only “medium” range. buffed: now fires extremely quickly and efficent with no weird stops, making it quite a bit better and offsetting some of its rng projectile pattern by just shooting more often!
- Hornet - After the buffs it went from Basically a weaker version of the nemesis into basically a better version of skeksil! (that sadly only comes in CORROSION!) which is why it is still below skeksil and Gargoyle, it still doesn’t have the raw damage output of the gargoyle and overall flexibility of skeksil, but if you want only corrosiv, that pick this over a skeksil for SURE!
- Rebound - Its insanely strong, it fires rediculously fast, penetrates enemys and returns for double damage, this can really shred through any enemy. it does however have a hard capped limited range. but everything inside this range, just melts.
- Scourge - it is still REALLY good, but you need to position the clone in a way that the rocket has time to travel and also fly by as many enemies at possible, but a single shot can kill multiple enemys. For some weird reason the main projectile when fired from the clone travels WAY slower than if you shoot it, the tiny homing rockets however still spawn at the same rate/travelspeed then yours would do! this makes this thing SUPER powerful if used right!
- Mongol - its a preety good launcher on the clone, fullfilling a somewhat similar role to the scourge, by clearing whole rooms, the projectiles dont home though, making it quite a bit harder to use! but it spreads WAY more, for TOTAL MAYHEM!
- Globetrottr - its like and even stronger shredda, it fires slowler sadly and it can kill your clone even faster if not careful! but it comes in all elements which make it versatile and very useful!
- Breath of the Dying - This is an extremly good gun on the clone now! its pretty funny for mobbing, when you kill an enemy, the small blobs that spawn one shot every enemy around it. nice room clear! this could even easily replace gargoyle, since it is extremely precise and has really fast firing AND high damage output now and is far less dangerous to use.
- Prompt Critical - really solid damage, fire rate is okay, and even comes in elements, its basically an upgraded better devils forsum
- Seeryul Killur - its no nopewpew but it IS pretty close, it needs to ramp up through kills, and after a kill it can hold its own pretty well and even shred through fire resitent enemys.
- Flipper - even with bad AI firing, this gun still does work and packs a punch
- Soulrender - amazing fun gun to use, shoots fast, hits hard and the skulls do a lot of work!
- Septimator Prime - extremely high damage, precise and high rate of fire. Meteor doesn’t seem to deal a lot of damage, only fire.
- Yellowcake - it still does millions and millions of damage… it needs a lot of positioning and babysitting though, as the clone will oneshot himself if an enemys is in the clones face.
- The Lob - even slower projectiles, but imense damage on slow targets! one shots bosses.
- Nemesis - this is basically the baseline good gun. there are better options and there are worse, your clone literally becomes a machine gun turret with this. A weaker version of the SkekSil, but still pretty strong, shoots fast, hits okay-ish hard, it does half the damage of the night flyer, but it does have all elemental synergies.
- Tiggs’ Boom - Very high damage if close range, meteors are also strong! But slow projectile speed
- Kaoson - this is basically the Duc on mega steroids! full auto duc madness whith secondary explosions for massive dps
A+ Tier The good stuff
- Night Flyer - this is an honorable mention for A+ Tier! as you have to build around it quite a bit! but it is totally worth it! Use this when you don’t have OPQ or nopewew when you missed the ultraviolet event. this thing WRECKS everything in its path, though you need to get tricky with it, use specific skills like “trick of the light” or even use the “messy breakup” shield, this in combination with your SNTL drone and your grenades will provide enough ways to kill enemys and you will basically never see immune for more than a shot, just focus the same target as your clone and thanks to “trick of the light” one of you will not be focused and therefore shock the enemy for 1 damage which is just enough to kill them! and if you do it right and get the hang of it you breeze through anything!
- Crossroad - Versatile thanks to it having all elements, shoots fast and precise, one burst usually kills an enemy if your using the right element. falls off at longer ranges. also one of the best freeze weapons imo.
- Broosin Shredda - this is a purple COV launcher that fires 4 buzzsaws that explodes, it is COV and has a HUGE 25 shots before it overheats… it consumes 3 ammo which means the clone can shoot 8 times before reloading and he does shoot it insanly fast! these things hit REALLY hard, so hard in fact than the clone can easily kill itself. the buzzsaws also have a weird pattern that you need to learn if you want to use this effectivly!
- Hellfire - Insane damage and good fire rate
- Zheitsevs’s Eruption - good dps especially after the first reload
- Monarch - A great gun despite the fact that you cant use the much better secondary mode, it still does quite a bit of damage and is basically a weaker version of the light show on the clone.
- Good JuJu - another really good CoV Burstfire gun
- Roisen’s Thorns - Actually pretty good now, the combo of fire and corrosive is useful sometimes
- Frequency - its a Shockwave on steroids, after a kill or two this thing wrecks through mobs with multipe bursts of shockwave
- Kaos - very good dps now, its effect can chain some nice explosions!
- Krakatoa - Insane damage per shot, weird stop and go firing sadly
- Hive - a good alternative to the scourge, has huge area coverage, a radiation hive is pretty funny for mobbing. Needs some time to set up, but outperforms everything in long lasting large scale fights in one area.
- (FIre)Storm - good burst and sustained damage, quick fire rate for a sniper with a splashy effect. its a brainstormer for both groups and single target
- Hot Drop - A much safer fire yellowcake that does a little less damage
- Reflux - Corrosiv Brainstormer with higher base stats, nice for groups of armored enemys
- Brainstormer - nice for hordes of enemys
A Tier The still good stuff
- Infinity - (recently buffed) This is THE ONLY gun in the game that actually has a good AI! belive it or not! The clone will actually just shoot it forever, with no breaks! he does not stop, he just shoots at anything he can see and never lets go of the trigger… WHY can he do it with this but not every other fast shooting gun? WHY?.. the damage after its buff isn’t all that bad either anymore.
- Omniloader - This quest reward item is a weaker Nightflyer with no drawback and perfect fire rate and accuracy
- Devoted - Flexible elements, good damage, insane firerate, very good now!
- Trickshot - this gun, with the clones pinpoint accuracy just instantly kills mobs after the first shot landed! thats the only little issue though, the first shot HAS TO connect, which ofcourse can miss from time to time. it also has no element making it not ideal in all situations
- Blind Sage - It is a legendary high damage Shockwave with upside whats not to love? I personally can’t see any projectiles on kill though. I still like frequency more, which just deals way more damage
- Kyb’s Worth - SMG version of the trevonator.
- Hellshock - slow projectile speed, good dps
- 9-Volt - good damage, good fire rate, wide spread, shock only.
- Shocking AAA - its a weak version of the crossroad that only comes in shock
- Tsunami - Nice fire rate and damage, shock and corrosive are nice, but they are not fire.
- The Duc - it is quite strong, the secondary explosions have some weird scaling that I dont really understand, but they do a good bit of damage.
- Destructo Spinner - good fire rate, good damage if you use the right elements.
- EM-P5 - not as insane as predicted, Night flyer without a build around
- Westergun - Another good Maliwan smg, just a little less damage than other similar options
- Dowsing Rod - okay fire rate, good damage, nothing special
- Stuffed Shredded Lump - this is the alien barrel Torgue launcher, this thing is an omega pumped, but is just outclassed now by plaguebearer and even lob.
- Woodblocker - A burstfire sniper that does some good damage
- Lucians Call and other non-COV AR - usuable yes, but has some weird breaks where it just stops shooting for some reason, damage is okay but just weaker then burst fire guns.
- Star Helix - ^
- COV SMG,AR,Pistol,RPG - The clone generally does very well with most COV weapons, he fires them quickly, reloads fast and they generally deal good damage, these are always useful!
B Tier good stuff with specific range or charge requirements
- Butcher - B is for Butcher, good damage close range, can freeze preety good, and has a good AI, the downside is that it lacks range and is really hindered by that
- Facepuncher - It IS quite Fun to use, and a Build defining gun. The damage is really good too if you constantly switch your clone near enemys. BUT you obviously have to gimp your build a lot to get the all melee damage necessary to be effective as a DPS option, leaving you with “bad” shield, relic, and maybe even class mod.
- Mind-Killer - it feels like a “slugger” shockwave, which makes it really good. good damage even at medium range
- Craps - slow projectile speed, but the multi rockets trigger often and deal a lot of damage
- Juliet’s Dazzle - good dps, arcing projectiles make it low range
- Spade - Really fun to use and satisfying sound. you can’t use it close range (unless shock + transformer ofc) but the damage is really good. quick sidenote: probably one of the best weapons (when double pentrating) to use yourself in a clone centric build. reload after every shot(grenade spam) and double dipping while aiming for the ground behind an enemy.
- Cloudkill - This gun is actually pretty decent now! can’t use it close range and only corrosive, But damage is nice.
- Bloom - it deals very high damage, and the clone uses this gun perfectly, charging it up (makes it kinda slow) and then release and reload its quickly to charge again and insta kills any enemy
- Melter - purple Maliwan pistol, it does pretty amazing damage and has some “sick burns yo!”
- Scoville - you need to babysit it alot, can’t be too close range and only has medium range. but the damage potential is HUGE!
- Insider - Extremly high damage, but low fire rate.
- D.N.A. - slow charge and slow projectile damage, still good damage when you hit right elements
- Shockwave - A purple Maliwan shotgun, it does pretty amazing damage at close range.
- Linoge - its like a skeksil but with really low range and slow projectiles.
- Flood - Really high fire rate and high damage, but even the clone seem to have huge recoil
- Echo - its like the duc, but with its damage delayed, since the damage is split between 3 explosions. can ramp up and looks cool though
- Slow Hand - its basically butcher, slow projectile speed leads to less hits that connect, better damage theoratically
- Unkempt Herold -IF it hits juuust right, its insane, otherwise it feels pretty underwhelming for its legacy…
- Chandelier - good damage, low fire rate
- Icebreaker - this mission reward item is actually pretty good, its like an ice flamethrwoer and the clone fires it pretty good
- Bekah - definitly the best normal jakobs AR to use, but the extra pallets just add another little damage, which turns little damage from bullets into good damage from bullets, since it basically does double the damage a normal jakob would do. its nice, but not amazing.
- Redistributor - meh fire rate and okay damage
- Ion Cannon - one shots every normal enemy in the game, but bad dps on bosses…
- Conference Call - it cleans up rooms now!
- Boom Sickle - Low range, high damage
- Nukem - to much fun to be in C tier! xD self damage is a thing for the clone and it is range specific, still tons of damage especially to hoards of enemys
- Heartbreaker - its basically butcher, more base damage, but less firerate and a weird pattern.
- The Garcia - Its a basic jakobs shotgun, really high damage close range, nothing special
- Super shotgun - ^
- Nothingness - its a slightly better flakker
- Flakker - while the damage obviously is pretty nuts, the limited range is just to big of a hinderence for this gun to function properly. you will need to reposition alot.
- Lyuda - this can hit PRETTY damn hard, especially a doubled version. BUT even more so than the butcher has to be positioned JUST right to hit its full potential, which is quite hard to do in such a hectic game, okay for freezing.
- Long Musket - the damage is insane! BUT the range is SOOO LOW that you really need to focus on positioning…
- Sickle - really low range
C Tier Hindered or benefited by unique weapon mechanics
- Hydra Frost - after a kill this gun is actually pretty good dps wise, BUT it needs to get that kill first, which is tricky sometimes
- Lovable Rogue - WHEN he finally reloads its pretty fun and it does work well, homing projectiles deal alot of damage, but the base damage and fire rate are pretty low. I’d say the lower your magazin the better this gun becomes on the clone
- Dakota - its a solid shotgun at base, that MELTS enemys for millions of damage whenever its unique effect triggers at it fires high damage elemental pallets! can theoratically two shots bosses like traunt.
- Try Bolt - although its burstfire the projectile fall off is really bad, the close quater damage is good though, the explosions do a good amont of damage
- Phebert - okay fire rate and okay damage
- Tunguska - its just a launcher on the clone
- Clairvoyance - okay fire rate, okay damage, effect rarely happens
- Stonethrower - okay fire rate, okay damage, effect is rarely happening. its the clairvoyance just from dlc3
- Contained Blast - damage would be good, but sadly it is fired slowly, and the stickys take to long to exlode.
- Miscreant - sadly can’t use the double barrel, basemode has slow projectiles and relativly mediocre damage.
- Breeder - a weaker Duc
- Cutsman - The boss melting with this on huge targets is insane, the damage is really high, but it is useless against anything that moves around, the clone shoots slow and the beam travels slowly, the AI on this is really bad, still the damage is noteworthy
- Carrier - okay-ish damage thanks to its gimmick with multiple hits, slow projectiles
- Ogre and other Vladof AR - Low base damage and the clone sadly does not utelize their large magazin and fire rate. he always stops after a few shots for no reason.
- B*tch - Okay firerate, okay damage, nothing special
- Lucky 7 - does get random effects on reload, but obviously this is unreliable and you cant influence the outcome.
Stuffed Quadomizer - low damage, bad aiming and slow firerate for a launcher-
Hotfood Teddy - The Nukor… ehm, I mean… Teddy is a really fun to use meme gun. it can clear clumped up groups of enemys decently fast, but the single target damage is severely lackluster.
its fun to use and it looks cool, but it is not very strong - Firefly - the Projectilespeed is just too low, it is really hard for the clone to actaully hit damage. if it hits, damage is good, but not overwhelming, the little fireflys also dont deal to much damage.
D Tier slighty usable maybe? but not great.
- Skullmasher - low fire rate sadly, good damage still
- Unseen Threat - sadly the clone does not crit all to often, therefore this is mostly a normal sniper with good base damage
- Critical Thug - low dps, clone doesn’t crit very consistantly, explosions only deal okayish damage for its fire rate. no elements
- Redline - Meh damage, can’t use the stickys
- Lovedrill - Low damage and fire rate, can’t crit reliably and the gimmick is to small of an effect
- Oldridian - meh fire rate, meh damage, the element change isn’t a benefit either.
- Rebel Yell - (recently buffed) it at least deals SOME damage now I guess?
- Shredifier - I really dislike the Vladofs guns on the clone, he stops firing for ne reason all the time, where the fire rate would be actually good if the AI was better. damage is meh
- Agonizer 1500 - a “bad” shredda
- Satisfaction - not very Satisfying. low damage and fire rate for some reason
- Proprietary Licence - low firerate and damage
- Robin’s Call - its a basic shotgun, it does some damage and has low range, low fire rate
- Recursion - doesn’t work to well
- Hyperfocus - low damage, weird firing
- Dictator - cant use turret mode, still okay damage
- The Boring Gun - yep.
- Rowan’s Call - at least has elements over regular gatling gun
- Gatling Gun - weird firing AI makes it bad
- Lead Sprinkler - Its usable with good fire rate and okay damage, the small projeciles don’t really do a lot thoughand arcing projectiles make it low range
- Maggie - low damage, low firerate
- Creamer - a REALLY bad ION Canon.
- Kill-o-the-Wisp - just not a good choice for the clone
Wedding invitationBoomer- Faisor - not enough damage
- Scorpio XL - Weird firing, low damage
- Autoaimè - low damage
Headsplosion - does a good amount of damage per shot on crits, it just fires SO slow that it is not worth using.- Devastator - it fires fast, but the projectile are slow and the damage is not that high either
- One Pump Chump - the damage is still really low sadly, and the fire rate is really bad.
Proficient Interloper - A purple Maliwan Alien Barrel shotgun, it is a Slugger, so it fires a single bullet, the damge it does is mediocre, but the burn is actually quite strong. it is basically a weaker trevonator in the way you use it.- Alchemist - to slow
- Little Yeeti- meh fire rate, good damage, but the knock back makes the gun actively bad on the clone and harder to hit enemys
E Tier Stuff I dont even want to talk about, they are just not all that great or even bad
- Smog - Low fire rate and damaage cant use gimmick
- Cocky Bastard - its a normal sniper and therefore bad on the clone
- Plumage - the clone cant use the homing effect, even if you yourself used a tracker. so with its random rocket pattern, it is not very useful
- Seventh Sense - Way to slow to be effective
- Brightside - really low damage, low fire rate, tediore throws dont work on the clone.
- Night Hawkin - Another really good gun that sadly doesn’t work on the clone, even with a burst fire variant it shoots extremly slow (~one burst per second) and does terrible damage.
- queen’s call - although you might think the clone with his good aim would crit really well with it, for me this just wasn’t the case, it crits like 1/10 shots, and therefore this is nigh unusable. and also isnt good for freezing with the clone.
- Devils Foursum - TO range specific to be useful
- Malaks Bane - its a normal sniper and therefore bad on the clone
- Bear Cat - arcing projectiles, low damage, unpredictbable pattern
- Tidal Wave - Low damage, weird patter, slow
- Predatory Lending - does not consume money, still meh
- ASMD
- Sawbar - when it hits, IT HITS, but with its range beeing SO specific, it is not recommended
- Monocle- just fires to slow, does not go for headshots, often does little damage.
- Jericho - the clone kills itself more than it kills enemys with this
- Webslinger - laughably Low fire rate and damage
- Polybius - weird pallet pattern makes it not very usefull, damage is low
F Tier Dishonorable Mentions
- Lasersploder - this is the biggest joke in the game right now xD seriously, please try it out! and use a cryo version for poor preejaculation spurt clone xDD this gun shows why Zanes clone has problems… such a good gun, could be SO good on the clone, but the AI ruins it completly! “pfft”
- ION LASER - … Same joke bad AI as Lasersplosion…
- Mother too - this again would be SO good with a good AI… even the small first tick does 1m damage… but… its a laser…
- Frozen Devil - its a laser.
- SF Force - could be so good… sadly its a Laser…
- Mutant - its a laser.
- Narp - extremly low base damage and anti-synergy with the clone since he cant reload early
- The Blanc - the clone fires it semi-auto for some reason, can’t use the gimmick, low damage make it terrible.
- Stauros’ Burn - The clone will immediatly kill itself when set on fire ^^ I THINK what is happening is that the self burn scales with action skill damage resulting in the clone immediatly disapearing after self burn. DO NOT USE! HOT HOT!
- Embrace the Pain - Embrace the Pain and Pain is Power same as Stauros’ Burn, all three guns will no longer work on the clone, when he sets himself on fire, the burn will be so much that the clone just kills itself…
- Pain is Power - ^
- Polyaimourous - another, terrible not working with the AI, laser gun
-
any Tediore SMG and Pistol - this is more understandable… but the clone obviously does not use the throw mechanic of tediore, and in fact doesnt even spawn any projectile on reloads… if I had Infinite ammo and 93% reload speed you could BET your ass I would only spam babymaker and purple shotguns.
- P.A.T. MK. III - its a tediore, not only that, but the projectile speed is extremely low making it even worse
- Atlas guns - he also obviously can’t use trackers, so these are just guns that do no damage.
- Vladof AR - clone never full autos
