[Build] Zane of all trades - advanced

about a week ago or so, I posted this build. The main benefits of it (in my opinion) are it´s easy accessibility, high durability and all-around usefulness. It´s main drawbacks are situations in which you are not able to snag a kill/freeze (co-op, or only anointed enemies around) and bossing in general is, while very easy, tedious and slow.
So taking in what has been discussed on this forum over the last week I have adapted the build to get around those two issues while maintaining most of the benefits.
What I came up with is certainly more gear dependant and while it will work at any point, I strongly believe a freeze build is the best option to go until you get the adviced gear.

So this time around, I have decided to go with the Hitman tree and Seein’ red. I think as of right now it is the best option for endgame play. The choices in this tree are pretty obvious I think (credit @Hexxus for being the first one (that I have seen) to point out Playing Dirty´s strength). Going with Seein’ red alone get´s rid of both of the aforementioned issues.

The major decision to make in undercover is not which route to go down the talent tree but rather how far you go. Given the shield we use, neither recharge delay/speed nor capacity are of much use. The shield is picked to maximize our action skill cooldown rate and maximize Confident Competence´s utility. Additionally it passively increases the usefulness of Salvation by increasing our healthpool. To retain a good chunk of sturdiness the original build provided I decided to go all the way to futility belt. In conjunction with Stiff upper lip it provides a very noticeable increase in defense which is very helpful to use the build in any scenario.

The talent picks in Double agent are self explanatory I believe.

As for gear picks, I show them in the video below. The major weapons to get are two cutsmen (Shock and incendiary) and a burning Flakker. I am not sure yet what fourth weapon to pick. Ideally I want a low magazine/high damage per bullet assault rifle without elements. This is just so I can actually contribute in group play if we get -50% smg & -xx% elemental damage. If its just one of the two debuffs, the damage is still completely fine. Also for graveward a ranged weapon to actually hit him while he stands abit away is nice to have if we don´t kill him in one cycle.
The shield is a rare enemy drop from ambermire while grenade, class mod and artifact are just world drops but I advice getting ones close (or better obviously) to what is shown below.

Here is a video example of a Graveward farm run. I resetted a few times to get (almost) neutral modifiers so once I got them I didn´t bother to repeat and get a perfect run. I was a bit slow and didn´t aim particularly well, but with those modifiers this should always be a one cycle fight meaning it should not have gotten up again. With one negative modifier (50% less incendiary damage or 50% more health on graveward) the fight, if played better than in the video, will take the same amount of time as above. Two and more is still a pain which is why I want to get the fourth weapon right.
Also if I can be arsed I will upload a mobbing video aswell for which nothing in the build has to be adjusted.

thanks for the mention bud, can you post your full gear like load out and swap out guns + shield nade cmod relic? we usually disagree here with the skills you have taken in barrier but i wanna see what you run before delivering any input.

Since you play Zane i think you’re the person to ask. What do you think of this skill tree paired with a +4 Synchronicity class mod. It has less burst than the killskill build but great survivability/Damage. (Should mention that all my main guns are Anointed with 75% weapon damage on clone swap) Graveward with Neutral modifiers

As I mentioned the gear is shown in the graveward video linked above. The shield is called Band of Sitorak, mod´s just standard executor and relic is Last stand victory rush.

I did not even know a class mod with that high +synchronicity exists :smiley: It apparently works really well given the kill speed but I am pretty sure the bulk of that comes just from that mod and the anointed perk you mentioned. I´m still looking for a cutsman with that or +125% weapon damage after action skill ended.
So I would say do the same but invest in Hitman instead of going down double barrel, even after the buff to the clone I did find it pretty lackluster
