I didn’t test jab cross myself but there’s a guy on Reddit that has a full topic on extensive testing he did on the Facepuncher I can pm
It to you. From
His testing jab cross does work with facepuncher. I tested personal space myself to confirm it didn’t and then saw his post a while
After also confirming that didnt

It works as in it is buffed? Or it triggers the buff?

Does that mean Personal Space is bugged and doesn’t affect melee at all? Or just not the facepuncher?

@schmu666 Well it wouldn’t effect melee anyway. The skill says “weapon shots.”

Infusion says weapon damage as well and yet I’ve seen the game convert a portion of her facepuncher “melee damage shots” into her action skill element. It also counts when weapon damage has a chance to reflect from mayhem penalties. It’s clear that this melee shotgun sometimes counts as weapon damage and sometimes doesn’t.

Yeah, it solely depends on how a skill/effect was coded or rather implemented. A lot of skills have specific words in their descriptions making you think they work the same but behind the scenes they do completely different things.
