Guerillas in the mist post hotfix

Gearbox has released incorrect information regarding the skill guerillas in the mist. Their notes for the 9/27 hotfix detailed that guerillas in the mist’s duration was reduced from 8 seconds to 6 seconds. However when viewing the skill in-game that is actually not true. As shown in the attached picture the skill actually only lasts 5 seconds post hotfix. Not sure if it is misleading information or a bug but regardless it needs to be addressed

Looks like its been addressed…its 5 seconds.

Incorrect. Still reads 6 seconds on the borderlands site

It says 5 seconds in the game and its actually 5 seconds when you use the skill.

If they were lying to you then the skill will say 6 seconds in the game.and it’s actually 5 in practice.

Its 5 seconds…move on.

That wasn’t the point I was trying to make. Their news statement detailed it as being 6 seconds. The issue isn’t that it’s 5 seconds the issue is they said it would be 6 but it’s actually 5. That definitely sounds like a lie to me. I’m okay with the skill only lasting 5 seconds because it’s still plenty powerful and fun to use however I would like the information I read on official websites to be accurate.

If it turned out to be 7 seconds in the game…would you complain then?

All in game text should be accurate IMO. I still wish they would have fixed the description of money shot

Yes actually. Information released publically needs to be accurate. If the release said 6 seconds and it was 7 in practice obviously it would be a similar situation as either the news was incorrect or there was a bug in the game.

So youre telling me that if a hotfix summary said 6 seconds…and in the game I’m ended up being increased to 7 seconds you would create a topic on the forum calling out Gearbox for being misleading.

Come on… no one is buying that. Let’s at least be honest so we can move forward with what the discussion should really be about. You want it to be 6 seconds… just say it.

I’m not a Gearbox apologists but I dont see them doing anything wrong in this situation. Not everyone reads a hotfix…everyone reads the skill when they pick it.

Incorrect. I want it to remain as 8 seconds but understand the reduction to 5. I also still would have made a post detailing the discrepancy since it appears gearbox wasn’t aware their news was incorrect. Now the tone would have been different due to the discrepancy not leading to disappointment but misleading news is exactly that. Also saying that there is nothing wrong here is absurd. That is because either their news story was wrong and has still yet to be corrected or the game has a new bug in it that garbox isn’t aware of. As I said before I understand why they nerfed the skill as it lead to the game being too easy and made the characters unbalanced. However finding out that what was released in the hotfix details was inaccurate is not okay

Well why we are at it…lets add Queen/Kings Call to the list.

I’m not good at math but going from 10 rpm down to 3 is not a 50% lower fire rate.
