Where is the best nave to farm XP past level 60?
This question has been asked (& replied to) so many times! I say – Guardian Hunter mission in UVHM (available after killing the Sentinel 1st time). Don’t capture the Guardian with the grenade, just keep killing over & over. You need to equip the grenade the very first time but you can de-equip it immediately after.
What @CDR_Shepard said or resetting ultimate vault hunter mode running through till you turn in the quest for rezing jack and then resetting again. Honestly I think resetting is faster at high levels, but guardians is easier to watch a show or something while you do it. (they spawn in the same place, pick something that is ammo efficient and aim for the head.)
I tried resetting UVHM and just going the reviving Jack mission. The XP farming on it is inane. I went from barely LVL 61 to 64 in only a half hour or so. Thanks, I had never noticed it had the reset option.
No problem, mate! I think probably the fastest 1-70 is guardian hunters with a lvl 70 uvhm host for 1-60 and then resetting the last 10 levels. That being said, MOST characters it just more fun to play at least the first 50 levels lol.
What about other missions with endless spawning enemies?
I’ll list what I remember.
main game:
guardian hunter - easily done infinitely. really fast spawning. xp is decent. hard to screw up.
rocket brain (dont recall real name) - this one spawns 2 soldiers on 2 spawn pads near the big stalker. Works best with two players or more. if you headcrit a dude you might end the mission. really fast spawning. xp decent
turret training (while constructing felicity) - really fast spawning. decent xp. easiest to screw up (save and quit before it gets enough kills to reset it’s kill count)
.
HOLODOME
repeatable badass mission. Or even, reset the whole playthrough and restart the whole holodome. XP seems average. But the missions give it too.
.
CLAPTRAP DLC
I’ve noticed at least one endless monster spawner. For instance, the “lure viruses to the firewall” goal. If you keep killing enemies, you keep getting enemies. But the viruses don’t spawn as fast as I’d like.
Are there more?
Eventually I get pretty bored just farming XP one way. Back when I was level 69 and desperate to get to level 70 before killing zarpdeon (and therefore accepting the last story quest), I ended up visiting every map, and killing everything. And I also accepted side missions that didn’t have mission rewards I cared about, and killed Iwajira. That made it seem faster to me or at least more fun than sitting in one spot. Beating, resetting UVHM and replaying the holodome missions is probably a decent method though (or even just repeating the badass round). But Holodome isn’t as fun without a buddy. So when I’m running solo, I decided my favorite method is to reset UVHM, and play as normal. Now that we have the claptrap DLC, that’s also a decent thing to play and reset for. As with the holodome, to reach it you have to reach the first fast travel machine (at Janey Springs hideout, just about 20~ minutes into the game.) and then you can warp to the holodome or claptrap campaign.
