Borderlands 3 - Possible Secret on Sanctuary

I was looking for more buttons with photo mode and I found this poster in a secret room. I don’t remember seeing it anywhere else, might be nothing. Maybe someone can figure it out? I found another one in the Estate, so probably not a secret. The secret room is the closed door by the Mayhem pedestal. The photo-mode camera can pop in there sometimes.

It’s a Typhon poster with red writing on it.
“Remember the sequence!!”
Vault symbol and Typhon’s face are circled
Ruins is underlined with an arrow pointing to one of three stars

Very cool!

I’ve seen that poster around in other places…reminds me of Indiana Jones.

Maybe it’s a hint to a DLC. Borderlands devs have a history of putting small hints in the game for upcoming content updates

I don‘t want to spoil anything, but isn‘t this relevant during the main quest?

That would be weird if that hint was on the ship! I could believe it but it would be weird.

I suppose there is some link to late quests. But could be anything lol

That poster is relevant to the buttons you press in Jakob’s Mansion. Once you have the correct sequence, it opens the trap door on the stage. This is apart of the main quest and required to advance to the end of the game. So not missible.

Something else I noticed. Directly across from the golden key chest is a small area just like the chest area. It has curtains drawn back. At some point a blank white poster is hanging with a light. Almost like a bounty board or something. It has a light but you can’t interact with it. Future place for a grinder or bounty system??

Ohhhh, mysterious…

Totally shameless plug here, but there are some interesting potential secrets on Sanctuary that are point out at number 3 in this thread: Secret/Easter Egg Hunting Time! (SPOILERS)

So far, there aren’t any big secrets, but we’re slowly piecing things together.

As far as that poster is concerned, I’m afraid that is simply used in Jakobs Manor as part of a story mission. Interesting that it’s behind that door. I’ll look more into that.
