Beginning Siren w/Phasegrasp Build..tips & advice

hello All

I’ve got a “Solo” Siren that I went with the Phasegrasp Tree…currently at Level 14. But I feel I’m at the crossroads of just where to go on the Skill trees with getting the most out of it.

The bulk of my points are in the Fist of Elements down to Dread. Luckily I got a purple Level 12 with all points in FoE that has (1) Tempest, (2) Anima and (2) Infusion. But I only have (1) in Brawl (Clarity) and none in Mystical Assault.

So do I need to put more in Brawl…because those top six passives seem fit for your defense and if so which ones?

And I’ve seen references to Violent Tapestry as one to add and if so add, max or what…and anything else in the Mythical Assault tree?

Thanks for any suggestions and tips going forward…

I’d keep going down Fist of the Elements, since Indiscriminate and Ties that Bind is really good and should make clearing mobs out a breeze. Hopefully you’ll get a Phasezerker Class mod which will make your life a lot easier, as it comes w/ at least 2-3 Points into Clarity, and gives you a lot of gun damage / action skill cooldown / extra rush stacks.

Violent Tapestry is only worth 1 point, the % it adds is really small and based on the chance your gun has to proc whtv element. So an extra 3% or whtv on a gun that only has a 13% chance to proc isnt going to make any difference. Even a gun w/ 30% or higher, it wont really make a difference. Put your points into Fast Hands / Do Harm instead. With Ties that Bind, anything that triggers w/ Action Skill damage will work if something is damaged through the Link, so you can get Soul Sap and it’ll heal you.

Heres a generic build to spam Ties that Bind. You really need the Phasezerker class mod to make it shine, but I didnt get mine til 26 and I didnt really have any problems (I went all the way down to get 2 into Sustainment before going into the Mystic Tree)

With that build and the class mod you’ll be able to spam Ties That bind twice, and do it every few seconds. You’ll get plenty of healing via Soul Sap, and since the class mod gives Clarity and you have 2 in Sustainment you’ll get some even when its on cooldown / vs bosses. Its pretty easy to keep your stacks near max in a fight. For bosses you’ll have to switch to Phasecast, though.

Keep in mind Wildfire is kinda pointless w/ Indiscriminate, you might want to go w/ 2 into Infused instead. Maybe swap some points around into From Rest instead if you use Maliwan weapons a lot (even 1 point from something helps w/ the charge rate a lot)

You could go down the Brawler tree also for melee, she gets some pretty powerful melee builds. Even dropping a point from Wildfire into Illuminated Fist will let you OHKO most enemies with a melee for a majority of the game.
