Amara’s skill “indiscriminate” causes a chance for bullets to ricochet to nearby enemies, according to the skill text. In the course of gaming, it appeared that I, as the player, could also be a target of the ricochet. I noticed I would regularly take damage from phasegrasped enemies - bullets hitting me that weren’t being fired by enemies. I noticed it with other enemies who weren’t actively shooting at me as well. It became clear that these were my own bullets.
At first, I thought it may be due to the weapon I was using, but it was happening with each weapon. Finally, I respec’d out of Indiscriminate, which fixed the issue.
While it is technically possible to dodge the ricochet by strafing, the skill text seems to indicate that only enemies can be the target of a ricochet. I couldn’t find anything online that referred to this issue. Is that how the skill is supposed to work, or is it a bug?
