Every weapon and piece of equipment is totally legit. Yes I dashboard grind a LOT to get what I’m looking for. There are a few traded or given to me items from friends I trust.
Before someone accuses me of “perfect gear”…
I have played the game for 7 Months and the last 3 months at level 70. Steam says I have 520 hours playing. Wilhelm is my ONLY Character and I spend an inordinate amount of time perfecting my level 70 gear.

Not a reproach but the odds of getting a shock Practicable Company Man with only one pick-up from the Shift machine is crazy – if I give you the money, would you buy me a lottery ticket! But, good kill; and good use of the Pitchfork.
Crap…I’m only PC…sorry…I have zero experience with consoles…
Shock Bullpup would give you virtually the same results either the Critical Hit version or the Vertical Grip
But it would have to be gotten through the start new game exploit.
Normal drop Purple Practicable Thinking in shock would be best alternative…same fire rate just smaller mag but with Overcharge the reloads would be very quick.
Aim to the right or to the left of the center of the eye just a tad…the two red spots on either side of the eye . Until the eye actually opens, it doubles your chances for a critical hit. With the eye open…pour it into dead center.
The breakthrough for me on this was to go with different ammo pools.
The Pitchforks eat HUGE chunks of health and shields…but you never have enough ammo and spend all your time chasing for resupply…even with overcharge.
By splitting Shotgun to Shields and Corrosive Pitchfork to Health, Laser and Grenades for shield transitions…It tremendously lessoned the ammo problems.
Nothing will end the fight quicker in the end than a Corrosive Badaboom…usually one magazine will do the trick.
Tranquility oz kit against Eclipse…Clear Skies Oz kit against Eos
I like an Adaptive shield for this fight and spec hard to kill and all the shield skills as well. Any homing Transfusion grenade will help keep you up between shield transitions. And the Absolute Zero is the best laser in the game for Wilhelm and staying alive during transitions…that and the Disker.(which was not used here).
I will try that for the bullpup a practicable with shock doing the quick starts, as to the thinkings I saw one purple non elemental and have one glitched non elemental. Getting ones with elements would be like finding gold to me at 70 especially the glitched ones. If anyone had a good supply of them legit, and traded them around they could get anything they wanted I think, lol. Great vid by the way.
john I looked at you build and I noticed 5 in laser focus and only 3 in first to fight plus no vengeance cannon I would love to hear your rationale behind these decisions. I assume 5 in laser focus is to boost the laser disker, but what about vengeance cannon?

what are your thoughts? do you get enough out of wolf and saint? also, is emergency response of any help?
have pretty much the same build except no points assigned to those 2 with priority on gun damage and defense. I also invested at least 8 points to afterburner, energize and auxiliary tanks.
this is my current build, I just changed it last night and am not sure it will be effective:
wolf and saint are great, keep them going as long as possible. Wolf also serves to draw fire from you and distract your enemies, that can be big. I have found that with wolf, Laser guided and rolling thunder work together to give wolf more kills and thus extend his life. with emergency response you get a higher fire rate and thus more damage per second. As you can tell I really try to run a wolf/saint centered build. If you played bl1 or bl2 think of wolf and saint as mobile turrets.
Biggest issue with your build IMHO is missing out on Laser guided. It is simply the BEST one point skill Wilhelm has…if not THE BEST skill he has.
For general mobbing…You do not need Hard to Kill but for places like the Mutater Arena, Boss fights and the Hollodome it can be a great help.
You want to find at least 1 point for Hazmat…it’s a superb one point skill.
6/5 for Aux Tanks and Energize is fine for most fights…
A few points more in those skills I never argue with…the important part of being a Wilhelm player is to get GOOD with Laser Guided…A good “painter” and 6/5 or more in Aux Tanks and Energize is an unstoppable combination for almost all situations.
Targeting Scope vs First to Fight is a Playtstyle dependent decision…most like Targeting scope but if you are marshaling back…waiting for chances to strike…Overcharge and First to fight can be VERY effective
9/5 in Afterburner is overkill IMHO…6/5 is plenty
I LIKE Rolling Thunder and Omega Strike…Escalation is superb at 5/5
This might serve you better but it’s only a suggestion…everyone plays differently and if something works for you…KEEP USING IT!

I worked with the build you suggested. The biggest notice was with Escalation. Huge, huge damage and kill efficiency difference there. Laser guided will take a little practice, but I like the damage boost and works well with rolling thunder and overcharge.
emergency response was more effective/relevant than I thought it would be.
I went with 7 points on afterburner because it still gives you an increased reload and bullet speed.
overall I think the biggest difference was in Escalation.
