Greetings, I’m trying to better understand what classifies as an aura, and how it is different from area of effect / elemental damage? I’m interested in this because of a certain item I have received in game and I’m trying to weigh out which is better.

An aura is basically a fancy word for buff. And it may or may not be able to benefit teammates who are within a certain ditsnace. What item? Area of effect is just that! It’s a buff/debuff or something that emmintaes in a certain area. They could be used in tandem too because an aura can be, and more often then not, is an AoE effect
If you mean an Atom Balm relic, it means the damage Radiated enemies apply to other enemies around them.
You can gain an aura around you after slamming which is kind of like a circle of damage around you. keep an eye on the relics for this buff, lasts around 8s. Shame slamming is pretty bad imo
Can aura also effect fl4k pet when usin gamma burst?
I just got this radiation aura artifact and was wondering the same. Does it apply to gamma burst and irradiated enemies taking damage over time as well?
