First post on the forums, so I apologize if this has already been brought up before. This is one suggestion, but technically has two parts that can be examined separately.
Change the default effect of “Seein’ Red” to:
“Whenever one of Zane’s action skills is active, his Kill Skills are also active”
Currently, specializing in only the Hitman tree is extremely weak, especially since its action skill and capstone do not work well together. I think this change would work much more intuitively with the drone, as it has a long duration and cooldown.
Additionally, add the following effect (or similar) to “Seein’ Red”:
“Kill Skill: While one of Zane’s action skills is active, killing an enemy gives Zane a stack of SEEIN’ RED. For each stack, increase Kill Skill effectiveness by X%. Zane loses all stacks when he has no currently active Action Skills.”
This would give the capstone more of an interactive element that I think it currently lacks. Obviously, any sort of stacking benefit would work for Seein’ Red, though I think an effect relating to Kill Skills would fit the theme of the tree more.
With these changes, “Seein’ Red” would be beneficial to use for both bosses and mob clearing (active kill skills for bosses + stacking benefit for clearing trash). It would be more self-sufficient of a tree, as well as fitting with the other trees better. It could be a viable competitor to the clone/shield build in the form of shield/drone for near-permanent kill skill benefits.
