Characters: I feel that Clappy flies a bit under the radar since he’s so random. He’s got killer skills and awesome synergy with a lot of cool stuff.
Action Skill: same thing. People would be raving at how broken Clappy is if you could pick what action package you got every time. Between pirate ship and gun wizard, there are not a lot of things you couldn’t do with him.
weapon types: None. The only weapon type not fully used by everyone are ARs, and that’s because they REALLY are bad. a few exceptions aside, they don’t have a lot of redeeming qualities
Manufacturer: Scav. Admittedly, their stuff is not as good in most cases, but they’re often the second best. they make decent shotguns, probably the best SMGs in the game, and very decent pistols. They also make probably the best non-unique launchers in the game.
Gun: It was one of the best guns in the game in BL2, but hardly anyone mentions how great the Blowfly is in this one. Maybe it’s because there are not a lot of armored enemies. But when it’s what you face, this thing melts everything. Clappy and Wilhelm players should take notice.
Oz Kit: Dualities. Often skipped because they are fiddly, but if one takes the time to change them when they enter areas where there is only atmosphere or vacuum (Like R&D for example) you can get pretty good bonuses.
Shields: the Sunshine. Quest reward with good all-around stats, a guaranteed fire immunity and a nova that can reach to even long range. Very good shield IMO.
Grenades: The Kiss of death. AOE grenades are good, transfusion grenades are good…so a mix of both that you can farm as many times as you want and can come in Cryo… ought to be good right ?
Class mods: Most people don’t look twice at Nisha’s Sheriff’s COM, but it’s one of the best all around COM she has. It does everything right and boosts skills that are good in almost any kind of build.
I don’t know the other characters enough to suggest underrated COMs for them,
About the Blowfly, as the head of Claptrap and Wilhelm TGs I can’t help but feel offended. No joke, its probably the best corrosive weapon in the game. Even with .4 UVHM damage reduction its like the 7th best Pistol for both of them
Character: Wilhelm is always viewed as the not OP character but if you give somebody a skill like Targeting Scope and a Death Mark you get something scary
Action Skill: Full Heal So claptarp has an interesting Action Skill, and its not nearly as random as people think. You use it when your low and you have a really high chance to get Pirate Ship. If you’re also low on ammo have fun with your Gun Wizard.
Weapon Type: I’m not gonna go type but I’m going with Manufacturer. The fact is, Dahl weaponry is amazing. Sure everyone knows their uniques but nobody looks twice at Basic Dahl weaponry. Especially with the addition of glitches, almost every Dahl weapon is amazing. I’ll defend Dahl basics till the end.
Weapon: Omni Cannon or Moonface: I’m pretty sure by now ppl know how amazing the Moonface is, but ppl still sh!t on the Omni. Its not a conventional sniper but its def not bad.
Oz: Chuck’s
Nade: Nasty Surprise this is a thing guys and its a pretty good thing, esp for Hyperion Jack.
Shield: Imma just say Haymaker, most people list adaptives, Haymaker is almost objectively better.
COM: only gonna talk about Clappy and Wilhelm, cuz most ppl only think these guys have only one Class Mod. Imma talk about the Loose Cannon and the High Tech Projector, cuz most players don’t even know these even exist.
What is the High Tech Projector?
