Aside from certain boss fights (Corrosive immunity versus Iwa or shock / corrosive immunity shields for Sentinel) do Immunity shields actually serve much purpose?
I do seem to take fire / shock damage from enemies fairly consistently, but corrosive and cryo not so much?
And how do you know if you’re getting hit by Explosive damage?
And why do Blastproof shields only REDUCE Explosive damage, rather than provide immunity?
He’ll mark as you as the number one BLEEEEEEEP on Pandora and Elpis. And everyone would hunt you, and the reward would be that this person would be the number one Badass on Pandora and Elpis.
I think they are somewhat useful. I never go out of my way to get one with a certain immunity. But if I find one I immediately buy it, just in case/for the future.
I actually think cryo immunity was my favorite. Haven’t played TPS in awhile so correct me if I’m wrong, but if you have a cryo immune shield, then you can’t get hit with the cryo DOT, which means you never get the permanent cryo glitch. Was quite a nuisance to get rid of it.
DOTs are my mortal enemy and probably accounted for half my deaths in BL2, and like a third in TPS.
