Does it still scale horribly, or did they actually fix it?
Even if it scales properly, I wouldn’t use it 
Much better choices around, like the Asteroid belt for example.
I still think the asteroid shield is garbage. You need 2 to kill swarmers and 4 chunks an UNSHIELDED Basic Trash mob to half.
i never really tested it properly, but most cryo builds out there feature it, so it can’t be all bad.
Shooting things is faster a billion percent of the time. If your gonna freeze someone and then wait for the asteroid to kill them (which it might not even do), you’re doing something wrong.
You can kill things faster by freezing , going into your backpack to find a torgue anything, switching three times to get to that torgue weapon and then trying to 360 hipfire the frozen guy.
I think it’s used more as an “in addition to shooting” thing
