Moonshot landing at Serenity Waste treasure chest

With 3 characters I’ve now done 8 play-throughs where I land from the moonshot canister at Serenity Waste.

Only now after all those times did I discover if you turn around instead of following Janey Springs, there is a treasure chest towards the back of the map section where you moonshot land.

As an OCD completionist I always like knowing where all the treasure/glitch chests are and open them all up each time I visit a map. But can’t believe I missed this one after all this time. For some reason it never occurred to me to turn around and look back the other way from where Janey Springs leads you off to.

I know right? I found it on my second character, cause video game logic dictates you must search EVERY area before going to your objective.

It’s always full of crap, but it’s one more chest for the challenge.

It’s not a good idea to get it on Normal mode because you don’t get an Oz Kit and might die.

On TVHM/UVHM, yeah, you got an Oz Kit so it’s OK.

Im not sure if you actually can die there.

At least before you get your first Oz kit.

Ive left a couple new Normal mode characters out for 10-15 minutes just to see, and they just seem to keep gasping away, but not dying.

And no, they were not Clappy.

Hmm…

I think I might know why.

Try going into that Oxygen Bubble that Springs activates. Then get out. You’ll lose health.

Only Wilhelm can get to it in normal mode just turn on your wolf and saint then run to it fast then run to bubble

I thought you didnt die when you are running out of oxygen, it just stays at 1hp

I started a new char to level and on normal mode, knowing where the chest is, I was able to run to it, grab the loot, and run towards Springs and get to the first Oxygen machine in plenty of time before HP ran out.

I don’t know what would have happened if I got to 1 HP but I had plenty left, bit more than 25% by the time I reached the oxygen machine and turned on the bubble.

Negative. Any character can do it. If you run right to it, grab everything quickly and run to the air bubble you’ll be fine. You don’t lose THAT much health from no oz.
