Your BLands plans between now and BL3?

So, guys, with all content for TPS being out (although i still have all fingers / toes crossed and am hoping for a miracle in that regard), what do you plan to do, gaming wise, between now and Borderlands 3?

Here is how my Borderlands universe currently stands:

Borderlands 1:

Lilith - 69 - all the top gear and only the rarest Pearlescents and Eridian weapons left to find
Mordy - 13

(got a shamefully late start on this incredible game)

Borderlands 2:

All characters between 55-72, but, since I did BL2 exclusively co-op, i feel like i could playthrough each character again at least up to 50 solo.

Much of the best gear, but not all, and most of it was just given to me by others, so farming for that gear, plus the gear i have never even seen, is another thing I’d like to do.

Borderlands TPS:

5 characters between 51 and 62, with Wilhelm at 27 right now.

Athena, Jack, and Nisha were co-op exclusive, and I love the balanced skill trees and abilities in TPS so much that I am tempted to play them again from scratch solo.

Still only played the Clappy DLC once and have yet to see most of the Holodome / Clappy new uniques and Legendaries.

However, it may be time for a Borderlands break here soon.

I really need to start Bloodborne on my new PS4, and I still have so many PS3 games I want to play: Mass Effect 2 and 3, all the Bioshocks, Skyrim, Far Cry 3/4, Assassin’s Creed 2 and on, replay Fallout New Vegas, the list goes on and on.

BUT - the loot and shoot awesomeness of BL games has spoiled me.

I am torn!

At least I have options.

How are you guys all feeling, Borderlands vs other games wise?

EDIT COMPLETE!

Going to at least beat UVHM on BL2 once again, and maybe TPS. Then probably play Witcher 3 in a few weeks.

  1. Finish my BL1 bucket list.
  2. Get every character to max level in BL2 with the gear I want.
  3. Get every character to max level in TPS with the gear I want.
  4. Buy a gaming PC before BL3 comes out.

What is your BL1 bucket list, buddy?

@ACNAero

I have 6 characters across all 3 titles I’m working on.
BL1: Brick
BL:TPS: Nisha (at cap but I did a UVHM reset), Fragtrap, Aurelia
BL2: Maya, Krieg

However, after I have done every quest as Nisha I might start on other games, like Demon Souls.

Dude!

If you’ve never played them, Demon’s Souls / Dark Souls 1 & 2 / Bloodborne are amazing and soooo challenging, with great multiplayer if people are still online.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  1. Solo PT2.5 Crawmerax as every character. I managed to finally do it as Mordecai yesterday, so Brick and Roland are the only two left.
  2. Get every perfect 5th line version of every com in the game… except for the loyalty coms.
  3. Get a good Serpens for Roland.

I know, I know.

But I haven’t started on Demon Souls yet because character customisation/build not being planned out yet. Dark Souls 1 and 2 will be added to my collection in the future.

On that note, King’s Field is another game I want to finish aswell.

Must resist teasing you

Witcher 3 looks sweet! I loved the second one too.

Re: Demon’s Souls - if you’ve never played it before, don’t bother planning out characters in advance. The only need to have a hardcore optimized character is if you are doing hardcore PVP like i did for 1.5 years straight, and that heyday is LONG past. Even then, that’s only from level 100 and up, and it’s a big journey to get there legit. It will mainly be you vs AI. Just go for a good mix between melee and magic (magic makes AI and bosses in all 4 games almost easymode) or focus more on pure melee if you want more of a challenge. Have fun, try out new stuff, see what works for you or doesnt. I can give you pointers if you need any!

Also, what system is King’s Field for? I’ve always wanted to play it!

@ACNAero

Who’s got two thumbs and found a near perfect Serpens in only 5 weeks of playing?

*points thumbs at self

THIS GUY!

:wink: :wink: :wink:

That’s a nice, if hardcore, list man!

I notice “find more pearls and higher than green rarity Eridian weapons” isnt on there!

Damn ĂĽber rarity!!!

Inb4 you offer your Undertaker again. :stuck_out_tongue:

@FlamesForAll

Thanks for the advice!
King’s Field 1, 2 and 3 are for the PS1, but the first in the series is exclusive to Japan, and KF3 never got released in Europe (KFII lost the number in non-japanese territories). And there is one for the PS2.

Consider me curious.

I just started BL1 for the very first time.

Where’s the mini-map? Why do I have to pick-up the money? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It really shows the work they did improving it for BL2 and TPS.

Gonna be tough to get myself to finish it. Then again, it is a long time to BL3.

Ignore those minor details!

Immerse yourself in the hardcore mob density, brutally chunky combat feel (you feel every impact taken and bullet fired, I love it!), memorizing optimal chest farming runs, and the INSANE, experimental loot generation system.

You will forget the lack of minimap soon enough!

Finding 2 legendary Eridian weapons? Have fun. Never found one of those.

Tssk. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That’s why I said a realistic goal. I’ll probably never find one.

Maybe when splash damage gets fixed.

Neither did I, but its not a loss for me since I don’t like Eridian weaponry.

@ACNAero

Nice Pearl find!
