I’m on xbox one x and the text is super tiny. It’s hard to read anything. It’s a 55" Samsung plasma TV. Why can’t I see the words? It’s awful. I have a head ache now. I didn’t really think about it much squinting during the entire time. I can’t read any info on the guns in game for example.
Like you have giant text for the menu screen but the options screen like the text is a size 1. What the hell…
I’m having the same issue. You can change the text size for subtitles and closed captions but that’s it. Makes me wonder if the game was tested through a fish tank.
I’m really struggling with this too. Playing splitscreen with my wife and we have to pull the TV as close to the sofa as possible and it’s still a chore. I never had this problem on the other games
Absolutely insane they didn’t realize this during testing. I have an amazing television, 43’ 4K HDR and that font is still killing me and my girl’s eyes. Between the super small font and the lag it’s almost unplayable…come on guys this is unacceptable, how did you not notice the font is literally half the size it should be

I remember on PS3/Gran Turismo if you played on an old crt tv there was an option to zoom (R3?) in menus.
Man I got a 43’ 4K HDR. That’s big enough, still looks crazy small
I have an old 41" (That I bought to play GT5 back then. 
) and yes it should be enough. I’ve seen people on a 70" complain…
Maybe they’ll sell controllers with a scope! 
I don’t know about the rest of you but the text is mega small. Like it’s so unenjoyable. My friends play splitscreen and I am not sure how. I am about to hook it up to my projector to see if that makes it any better. Unfortunately for me this hinders my enjoyability of the game and my partner can’t play it. She’s legally blind, but he’s some site and now she can’t play with me. Basically I am glad I got the game but it would be better if the text was bigger
From the options: gui scale or something like that. I got annoyed at the tiny font in the first minute of the game and changed it.
75" TV on PS4 Pro, same issue.
We have the same problem!
This issue makes the game much less enjoyable for my wife and I as well!
Purchasing a steampunk monacle and Edwardian feathered tophat(with plume) should help.
Optionally hopefully this type of info gets forwarded to Gearbox and they patch it soon.

PS4 Pro with 65” 4K tv. Same issue. I have never felt I needed reading glasses to play a video game before. 
Everyone needs to put in a ticket with support and request to get this font issue fixed. I’ve already put one in and even included pictures of the menus. Hopefully enough tickets will get the development team working on a fix sooner than later. I’ve got a 46" 1080P TV and have to sit about 2 feet away to manage my inventory or compare weapons and such. I also have to quit about every 45 minutes or I get a headache. This is quite possibly my last pre-order ever! Is it just me or has Beta Testing moved to the folks that pre-order games now?

The problem could be entirely fixed just by having the expected and normal vertical splitscreen. The problem is this awful thin letterslot splitscreen view. With a proper side-by-side view, there would be room enough for larger text.
I was hoping in this upcoming patch that there will be a fix to this for us console users, but so far not seeing anything in the notes. Be nice if they had a UI text size slider, be quite helpful.
Hello! I am hoping that you will PLEASE do an update to fix the font on the game!!! I cannot see it at all, and my husband is squinting to read it to me. He just loaded it on single player and this is the view. I will also attach a photo of the tv on split screen. We cant play it! I’m pissed bc we just spent $120 to buy it and play it instantly, only we arent able to play it at all due to the font without getting up and walking 8 ft to the screen of the 65" TV to read it…
But the graphics all in all look awesome and have improved radically!
P.s. If you could please update the view of picking things up that would help a LOT too. When you would go to open a chest on BL2 you didnt have to toggle your view up and down a whole lot on the screen to get into the boxes.
Now we have to be super close to the boxes and looking directly at the box/loot in question to open it/pick it up on BL3.
Please make it where we can walk up and press □ again to open them without being as close and looking directly at them to open them.
Anyone find a fix for this tiny text issue?
