How to enable Steam Overlay with EGS version?

The game starts as Non-Steam Game from the Steam client, but the Steam Overlay doesn’t work. Is there a way to enable it?

Online will be disabled. It worked for me before, but now it doesn’t. Not sure what is going on.

Ok, same. It works, but online play is not available with this method. So it’s of no use to me, I need both… But thanks anyways :stuck_out_tongue:

What you want to do is add the Epic games app to steam as a non steam game, Any game you launch with that will have the steam overlay. If it doesnt work right away close Epic games launcher first before starting from steam. Credit from [This guy]
