Laser-Guided bug?

Platform: PC
OS: Windows 7 x64

Bug: The skill works fine for the most part but sometimes Saint randomly stops painting new targets no matter how much I press the action skill button. Once the drones are gone and the cooldown is over I use the skill again and it’s back to normal. I was wondering if anyone else encountered the same problem.

Is Wolf Alive when this happens to you?
When Wolf is dead Saint can no longer paint targets and you must re activate them to proceed painting targets

I believe that they both would be alive, if/when it happens next I’ll double check.
