No Response after Pre-Order?

Hi, I Pre-Ordered the game on the 18th of July for PC via the 2k Shop (do not support Epic), I have waited until today and still haven’t got any confirmation on my purchase, no Email, no nothing… is this normal?

Yes I am, and even if it still gives them the same amount of money… at least I did my part in sending a signal ^^

And I did not get a Key, nor any other reply yet… I do have paid for it though, i can see it in my Paypal.

I am currently on the same boat, but i pre-ordered it for the PS4 back on april 3rd. I do have the receipt and i can check the order status but nothing else shows up. I am crossing my fingers it gets updated within the week cause it is supposed to contain a lot of content.

my bad. dyslexic typing. for me the email i got back in April said the order was complete. on the order status it just says it was submitted but nothing says it has been shipped. i just see the invoice of it.

well that does not sound satisfactory either… it feels like they dont care if we have confirmation if and when we get to play…

2k support has now told me to contact 2kshop support… instead of contacting them I am suppose to contact them on my own… oh well… I did that now… I hope I get an answer soon

Its really funny… first I contacted the normal 2k support where the whole page is in english, and I type my question in english… and then I get a response in german telling me to contact the 2k shop support…
2k shop whole page is in german and the question I got are in german, yet they tell me they can only answer me in english… these guys really need to work out their stuff… xD

"We have checked your order number xxxx and show that Borderlands
3 Super Deluxe Edition is a pre-order and has not yet been released to
the public. We do not have an estimated release date for the release
that we can provide, but we will send you an email as soon as it is
available for download. "

they dont have a release date xDDD
everyone on the planet with access to google has a release date… xD
I am triggered now…

EDIT: "We apologize, however, we do not have any specific information regarding
with the release date of your order to this date.

Pre-ordered products are shipped in advance. but we make every effort
for your purchase to arrive on or as close to the release date as
possible.

Rest assured that once our warehouse confirmed the release date of your
order, a separate email will be sent to you."

well this is as good as it gets I guess…

Same for me, contacted 2k they told me to contact 2k Store, wrote an E-Mail yesterday.
So i read your Post and it seems that it is not 100% sure that we will get the Key on Release day, or even on the 11th of September just to preload the Game? That are very good news -.- they have 6 Days left, if they dont get i right, maybe will cancel the order an reorder on Epic store direct. But i dont think that makes it any better.

so only hope they will get their things in order.

should not be so hard to send an activation Code per E-Mail right before release Date.

From what I got we (people who ordered physical at least) were supposed to be charged when the product has shipped, then we would get an update email letting us know that we’ve been charged and a tracking number for our package.

Me and a lot of other people have been charged about a week ago but still haven’t gotten that other email, hopefully it still comes on release day. Support hasn’t been too helpful.

I agree, their support seems to be unable to use anything else other than pre-made templates that surely needs to be approved on their end. For my part, I ordered on June 6th for a digital super deluxe edition and the payment isn’t taken yet. To be honest, if I don’t have any news before 7 PM EST today I will cancel the order and go through the Epic store to be able to get the pre-download.

Also, when I initially ordered it was during the period where the game was removed from the Epic store due to their 10% off all games so the only other option I had was to get it from 2k.

It would be great if they could at least make a statement on their Twitter or anything to give us a status of the situation on their end. Knowing that 3rd parties such as “humble bundle” have already provided keys but they, as the publisher, don’t even “know” when we will get the keys? I think their support is just being left in the dark and not provided with any information at all

I am in the same boat.

I ordered the game mid-June and received my pre-order confirmation by email, did not received anything after that (except the wrong templates and other very generic one when I tried to obtain more information from 2k support and 2k store).

Everything seems to be in order from the 2k store (Order and Invoice) but still, the pre-load should start in less than 9 hours and I did not received my confirmation code to redeem the game on the Epic Store and pre-load it when available.

Long story short, not impressed.

I ordered the game directly from the official borderlands website while the game was removed from the Epic Store when they though they could put a 10% discount on this game pre-release… not like we had many options at the time (PC).

So yeah, I will cancel this order if I do not have the code when the pre-load will start and I will order it directly from the Epic Store. Again, not as if they gave me any choice.

2K, your communication is very lacking, I suggest improving it.
