i need a new one for my Athena. my old Level 60 isn’t very good anymore on my Level 66 Athena.

Sorry bud, haven’t fought the normal sentinel in ages, always going for the invincible guy. As Athena, have a look at @BookEmDano’s [perfect storm] (The Perfect Storm- A Maelstrom Stacking Method) build for an idea how to deal with him. Athena is kills that guy the fastest with the right build out of all classes.

killed him yesterday in UVHM solo, but it took a few tries and i was lucky with second winds a few times.
i am certain, i could improve, but i don’t like the fight.
killed Eclipse/Eos about 10 times today, no problems with Athena, but the Invincible Sentinel seems hard for me. weird huh? btw, Eos is a stingy a-hole, not a single legendary from him yet except the guaranteed first one.

although, since i don’t construct any guns/shields/whatever and just use guns i found/ground myself i will never have all that perfect equipment.
No need for perfect equip, it’s just the approach that hopefully helps.
Most blue and purple gear (bomber and strafing run Oz kit, adaptive shield, hail, storm and Femme Fatale com) are easy enough to come by from regular game play. Just be aware of those and collect them.
Shock and fire hyperion shotguns should work even from Blue quality on, so grab whatever single to quad barreled ones you find.
The badaboom is a nice to have item, your shotties will just take slightly longer.
As for the IVFs, the glitches tediore smgs often dropped by eclipse/eos and the denial sub work well as substitute. If you need ammo diversity, grab a purple or glitched tediore rail gun for reload chucking.
If you want a similar grenade to the storm front, grab any purple lobbed or longbow tesla grenade, or kill felicity a few times for a quasar.
With such a load out, you won’t kill the raid boss in under 3 mins obviously, but you can execute that approach more or less 1 to 1 and be done with him in under 5 mins, I’d guess.

Yeah I agree completely with @Ha_Na. Perfect parts are hardly necessary. I ran around with random parts on my Shock Thinking and Focus Group, Party Line, and Hail for the longest time and it doesn’t really matter. The method is what matters and once you learn how to stack with Athena, you can have fun running whatever you want.

Ha_Nas video of killing Eclipse/Eos with Athena was it, that made me trying to kill him that way. First thing i farmed was a shock hail and shock bullpup plus Shield of Ages back when i was 62. now i got a few replacements here and there every few levels.
The final farming for as good as possible gear will start at level 70, i guess.

Regarding the Black Hole shield, i rather grind one, i think. 
It’s largely the same with the Sentinel, really. I’ve collected some blue and uniques and using the same approach, it still works reasonably well.
I’ll definitely have to try tediore smg throws plus femme fatale class mod! Never knew the class mod boosted the throws.
