Been trying to find some exceptional gear for Wilhelm to fight Eclipse/Eos besides Shambooming with a shock and corrosive Badaboom.

Here’s my list so far (haven’t really gotten into lasers yet)

Go ahead and add your “gems in the rough” as well

Eclipse or Eos Shield:
Shock Company Man
Shock Fast Talker
Shock Pitchfork (Surprisingly good)
Shock Hail (Eclipse Only)

Eclipse or Eos Health:
Corrosive Bullpup
Corrosive Proletariat (Surprisingly good with Overcharge)
Corrosive Torrent
Corrosive Hail (Eclipse Only)

And best grenade surprisingly is a corrosive Kiss of Death

Hey, let me add shock and corrosive maliwan Splitters and shock and corrosive leech grenades.

Also, a cryo bullpup and the ack ack do surprisingly good cryosplosive damage on eos.

Ha…I found a Corrosive Prcticable Thinking with a 4 yellow…the rest of the codes not as good but it was every bit as good as my Corrosive Bullpup…Better when the yellow kicked in.

I wish more folks had access to the Company Man…

VERY good shotgun.

I was fortunate to get an element (shock) on my one chance at it…

Corrosive Pitchfork will eat him alive as well. If you’re grinding for one, make sure to get the Night pre-fix for the bonus +120% critical damage.

Pacifying is better, you get +15% base damage and +100% crit as opposed to Night which is +120% crit.

got a pic? everything I’ve seen is only the night pre-fix gives you the crit damage bonus

Haven’t bothered farming for Pitchforks yet but Pacifying can definitely drop. If you’ve only seen Night then that’s probably RNG.

Base Snipers have 100% Critical Hit Damage Bonus

The critical hit versions will add to that 100% critical hit bonus.

the trick is to compare actual damage with your build.

A critical hit version with extra points in critical hit skills could possibly be your best DPS even though other versions may have greater base damage.

But Brandon is correct in that often your increased damage version winds up superior in overall DPS.

It’s the old TumTum vs Skookum argument.

the best weapons for Eclipse and EOS are electric PF and any electric Berrigan or Badaboom. Once his shields are down, Corrosive versions of those weapons will eat him alive once his shields are down
