Yeah honestly I have both of those on there already and he’s just so lack luster with everything except lasers where he’s still lackluster.
I agree, he doesn’t have any synergies like Gaige and Jakobs shotties, Athena with shock-n-fire, Nisha with pistols and Jakobs, Clappy with torgue, Axton with tediore etc. He has overall buffs and surveyor drone upgrades. So a list would basically come down to “just get good guns” 
Although before Aurelia he was my favorite sniper class, complements the action skill and laser guided well.

I’d do it when I’m done with the Aurelia Top Gear list. But it would mostly end up like @axlerate said.
Maybe we should call it “Least lackluster gear for Wilhelm”.
You can see my issues with trying to recommend ARs and Lasers with Claptrap. You just gotta pick generally good stuff that’s good on anyone and rule out things that a common build willhelm would have antisynergy with. Say the Hail is meh because one of his skills boosts projectile speed.
The only weapon he is better with than any other is the absolute Zero. Chronicler + Cold War + Abs. Zero matches Aurelias cryo damage.
But other than that…yep he is the weakest.

This is especially hard considering Wilhelm’s skills being so universal (excluding LF), making him a Jack of all trades really.
Nothing really “sticks” or “shines” with him. Just about every piece of gear I’ve come across and used with him have been “pretty similar”.
His skills make them so.
Axton had grenade damage in several skills. And iirc Roland had good assault rifle buffs
As well as shotguns. His Scattershot skill was amazing.

Rolands assault rifle buffs were only mag size & accuracy, nothing too special. His rifleman com gave them a damage boost iirc.
Heavy Gunner or Commando were still the way to go though.
Since this is blutfatal’s thread I hate to mention it, but I really like the flayer. It has replaced Maggie as my gun of choice, I also like absolute zero and Kaneda’s laser. So I guess right now those are my top four.

Just throwing in gwen’s other head, dahl miniguns, dahls in general mostly.
Its not perfect synergy, but his increases for crit damage, further recoil reduction, and fire rate play fairly well into dahl’s strengths.
Maybe mailwans pistols and snipers if the splash damage is boosted by laser guided. Thats about all I can think of.

BTW, is it multiplicative or addtiive? I think its the former, but I’m not sure.
