VIP season 2 opened up today, it appears.

The Weaponizer is back for a free spin and weapon. In my opinion it’s a little less intriguing than season one, all the gear is (relatively ) easy to farm for, vs. getting a Norfleet in season one (which I was lucky enough to get).
BTW you can still buy a Norfleet with 4,000 points either in the S1 or S2 buy screens.
And for those, there are 2 (out of 10) that are “hard” to get, a Norfleet again, a Pitchfork (simply because it’s not a huge percentage drop from anyone) .
My Weaponizer spin this time was a Conference Call, when I get home this evening and see it on my Xbox we’ll see what element it is.
BTW, with the spin and using another 4,000 points for another Norfleet (why not?) that takes me to 5 checkmarks in the “get a legendary in BL3” thing, only 3 ticks left, should be easy for anyone to get if you do all the activities.

Season 1 - Ol’ Painful, hardest gun to get in TPS, I was very lucky withe the spin.
Season 2 - Infection Cleaner, could be worse.

I like new head for Zane. It’s shame that Amara head is so awful.

I got a World Burn too. I was, you know, hoping for a fire or corrosive CC but hahaha yeah right. :wink:

Guys, go here and start cashing in these codes. Be careful as to what TYPE of code…Vault, Email or Creator.

Most of the creator codes have expired but almost all the vault codes worked.

My spin got me a Striker (big whoop) but I had enough points to get my 2nd OP 10 Norfleet…Fire this time!!

I’m going to guess not, but can you dashboard farm these or are the parts set once you claim the reward? I’d love a Slag CC, I’ll dashboard farm that all month before I kill The Warrior one more time.

You can try offline, but in case put reward into Stash. It linked to your Shift account, so it should be one time only.
BTW. do you need slag CC on OP10 or any level? If any I have one at 34 I think.

Looking for one at OP10, I have only a few items on my list of wanted gear and sadly that’s one of them :frowning:

I’ll try this evening if I don’t get a Fire CC. I’m banking on the Fire CC to allow me to solo Haderax finally. Though, after I posted that, I really don’t know why I’m not farming the Warrior for this…

Is Warrior a faster farm then the Evil Sorcerer for a Conference Call?

The nice thing about that Evil Sorcerer farm is the 3 chests on the way up that can drop those Tiny Tina Mods. I got a Superb Purple Chaotic Neutral Ranger from those runs…Only one conference call though and it was non elemental…Two Flakkers…one Leach and one Impaler. Drop rate was right about 1 in 10.

For me the Warrior is easier. I don’t have to walk very far, don’t have to fight anyone on the walk.
And since there is a nice spot in the Warrior den that you can shoot at him and never get hit yourself.
Usually 2 Lyuda mags and 3 B-tch mags (both on level of course) is enough for a moderately skilled person like me to kill it. The Warrior kill is just tedious, not risky.
The Sorcerer is an actual fight where I can die, and takes time and a fight to get there and take his 3 phases out.
So Warrior is easier and cheezier.
And you’re right, I don’t get the chests or the altar, but I’m usually only caring about the Warrior loot pool.

What is the normal drop rate on the Warrior? Best Guess is fine…1 in 10…1 in 20? And the loot pool looks the exact same plus the volcano…

That’s because the loot pool is the exact same, and they do both drop the volcano. Also if you save/quit before hitting the moonshot button (during the story mission fight) you get a legendary every time (or almost every time at least).

Changed my mind. When I loaded Sally in I got a OP6 Corrosive Conf Call. I’ll take that, I can farm a Fire one later.

The Handsome Sorcerer has a few extras thrown in to his pool: the KerBlaster is in there for whatever reason, and some peeking into the code showed he has Wilhelm’s pool too (or in other words, Logan’s Gun and Rolling Thunder.) Plus he can drop a couple of the magical grenade mods. So his pool is a little more crowded, but I often farm him instead of the Warrior regardless… the Warrior just feels a little more tedious to me.

No, but Magic Jack has a deeper loot pool.

I have 15.4. Missed all the creator codes. I’ll be saving them for season 3 and maybe after, who knows if we’ll get something sweet after the release of BL3.
