I’ve seen a lot of New Pandora Troops holding a Hornet. Which, btw, makes sense because they are originally a Dahl Special Corp.
BUT. Today I was doing BFF mission, and going to the second guy ( Lt. Avangar or something ) he was shooting at the me with a freaking thunderball fist. And it was Binary and matching grip too!!! Someone encountered this before?

Since they’re equipped with high rarity guns, I won’t be surprised to see a Legendary or two.

Yeah he didn’t at all. Would be cool tho. Some enemies show a sort of dead hand mechanic. Like, badass snipers will drop their actual shield, or the third Lt. Drops the sniper every time… could be it a sign of BL3 returning to that mechanic?
Btw I WAS surprised because I immediately noticed the unique projectile behaviour but I didn’t wanted to believe he was actually holding this monster… I wonder what else is possible to spawn in his/their hands.
It must be common. Just played this mission and Angvar spawned with Logan’s gun. It was funny as Angvar was dealing tiny damage because of the special effect of the gun that makes it deal small damage on direct hits and requires you to shoot the floor.
If you didn’t know all enemies can spawn with worldrop items. Goliath blaster shooting a Mongol is a sight to behold.

Btw I’ve seen a Blaster holding a Badaboom, nut nothing beside that, i don’t think enemies outside of the aforementioned can spawn with unique weapobry
Yes, Lt Angvar always spawns with a legendary pistol. If he spawns holding an Infinity, he will actually drop it when you kill him just like Lt Hoffman will drop the Hot Mama if he spawns with it. So you can farm him for an Infinity instead of Doc Mercy.
RPG loaders can wield legendary launchers too. I believe enemies can get legendary guns other than launchers but it’s just very hard to notice it because launchers have very distinct visual effects but other guns don’t. You aren’t going to notice that the enemy shoots a Shredifier/Hammer Buster/Invader or many other guns as the only visual difference is the skin of the gun.
Now I’m curious. I want to try running a NVHM Hero’s pass to try to confirm it.
Idk man, I am sure that if non/launcher enemies could spawn with legendary items, someone would have gave proof before, right? Just as we now know about launchers I mean.

I have actually heard this to be the case, but somehow the Firedrill didn’t make it into the vanilla game.
Well that explains a lot, I didn’t know he spawn always a leg pistol. So we know about Thunderball Fist, Logan’s gun and Infinity, what about others?
I was watching a Joltz stream and he says that he’s seen him spawn with a Harold making him very difficult to kill. I’ve not seen it myself, but Joltz is a reliable source as far as I know.
