My friends told to me that I have to abandoned my Krieg in OP8 in PS4.I love Krieg because of its crazy feeling and let me feel free in my working stress…They say that the pure melee Krieg can not living in OP8 because of less melee damage and no way to keep alive.So I hope that someone can give me a good way to play my melee Krieg in OP8.More detail the better.I also read some build but they are not very good at OP8.

Your friends sound like people who’ll feverishly tell you “Grog Nozzle, Harold, Norfleet, Chaotic Evil Monk Salvador” and nothing else. Melee Krieg can survive at OP8. Anyone can. Just takes a bit more fine tuning. I’m not an expert on his builds. But whenever you hear someone telling you something in the game isn’t viable, take it with salt.
Melee K is a bad idea if you want to run DP. There is a thread where users Giu and Gulf posted some suggestions (LF OP advice for K)
Melee krieg is fine for mostly everything on op8 even the peak. He is perfectly capable of soloing op8 peak but does much better with a slagging partner such as Maya or Axton since he has to throw grenades to slag in RTB. He does struggle with a few bosses such as Terry and the dragons so I would recommend switching builds for those.
yeah he likes what you said…so I have to make a real melee krieg to beat him.
Well I’ve soloed Badass round at Murderlin’s Temple on OP8 with melee Krieg so that’s about as good an indication of what he is capable of than anything.
I have seen a build about explosion axe.I need to try it with my friends.But I still need more idea about melee krieg.
About the silence voice.I feel that the hurt myself chance is more than 12%.Although it can let throw axe become more powerful,Is this necessary to 5?

THX everyone.I think I can find my way of krieg in here with you.
Two paths for effective melee Krieg: Bloodlust-Mania or Mania-Hellborn. With the Bloodlust variant you get EXPLOSIONS and Bloodsplosions. With the Hellborn variant you get more survivability via Elemental Empathy.
StV is an absolute must any way you choose if you want an effective melee build. Health stacking helps absorb self-hits.
No, LtF is not useful.
What’s your current build?
Get a Rough Rider shield, gives you more health and grants you extra damage resistance. About COM, Leg Sickle is a must for a Bloodlust-Mania melee focused K. Also, a Storm Front is useful to get max Bloodbath stacks do more damage.
About relic, my preferences always have been Blood of Terra (if you ever can get one) or Blood of Seraphs (+max health + health regen).
I play a hybrid build, focused on guns and relying in Release the Beast and that goddamned point in Thrill of the Kill when K’s health goes insanely low. This with a similar gear, but com being Leg Reaper.

Im sorry I wasn’t clear. you throw a few before going into RTB so they are slagged while your in it.
Melee Krieg is great, but often struggles in areas without any real trash mobs ( mostly Peak and a few Raidbosses ).
But the best advice I can give you is to watch gameplay footage on youtube. Almost everything has been done with Melee Krieg on OP8. And apart from some minor deviations, the build is almost always the same.

Don’t have a Blood of Terra (yet) or Blood of Seraphs so I use a health + ammo increase relic- right now I have one that’s +53% health and +77% launcher ammo. I also tend to use a slag Bouncing Betty before using RTB (and keep a MM on hand to replenish the grenades should there be too few enemies killed to restock them). I main the RR except when driving (for that I use a Bee, since vehicle weapons benefit from it). And as a totally off the wall comment- if Kreig were announced as a hidden character in the new Mortal Kombat, do you think you could win the game with him?

Oh, and if you farmed enough seraph crystals, you can get a Blood of Seraphs at the vendor in Oasis.
I used to do that until I found a good Storm Front, now I use that to build BL stacks and strip shields at the same time; I find it much more effective, but I generally play with Maya and Gaige, both who have great slag skills. In solo, I would definitely go back to a slag bouncing betty grenade.

yeah the 0 shield.i should know it.at first when i seen it i decided that i must use this shield in my psycho.and another shield of explosion shield…what? love trumper?..is also a choice of mine.
