They seriously expect you to solo through OP6 without running out of ammo?

Yeah even with this awesome new Toothpick gun looks like I’m not gonna make it through OP6 afterall.

Infinite pistol definitely is needed but I keep running out of ammo before even encountering Doc Mercy! Really rage enducing, ammo is really needed after Dukinomom, they should fix this

They don’t expect you to do anything, but i basically guarantee it’s your gear that’s the issue.

And isn’t toothpick locked to fire? Hence not being that great for the peak

I can’t imagine how much toothpick ammo it takes to kill the fire resistant dukino’s mom
Regardless, in case you didn’t know you get more ammo by opening every ammo crate before looting any of the ammo because it prioritizes the ones you’re lowest on

She’s not fire resistant on DigiPeak.

Regardless, your point still stands, and fire is by far the worst element for that gauntlet.

She’s not? I know flesh enemies don’t work normally on the peak, but I’ve never heard of armored ones being different

We learned at some point that Dunkin Donuts mom doesn’t have the Corrosive weakness, so I imagine that would also mean she doesn’t have the fire resistance?

She’s not treated as an armored enemy because she’s a digistruct clone, like all other non-bot enemies on the Peak. Only bots act the same on DigiPeak as they do off it, in the case of elemental weaknesses/resistances.

Edit:

Damn autocorrelate!

Which, makes sense from a lore perspective, but is bonkers on a gameplay note?

Absolutely ■■■■■■■ bonkers.

Hi, we taught you that the most important point is matching elements!

Welcome to Whose Peak Is It Anyway where the rules are made up and the points don’t matter!

Lmao pretty much xD

I liken running DigiPeak to playing Krieg. Take everything you know about Borderlands and throw it out the window into another window, because none of that applies here!

The irony is that Krieg is by far the worst character on the Peak, so go find another row of windows to throw ■■■■ through.

Defenestrate the rules!

That could mean so many things.

Yes to all of them.

Specifically here, throw them out the window.

As has pretty much already been stated by Slif, everything is slightly or greatly different on the Peak.

  • “Flesh” is neutral. No resistances, no weaknesses. So no multipliers for fire vs flesh ; but corrosive and shock are equally good.
  • Spiderants follow a different pattern but it varies on the type of spiderant. Some are resistant to fire ; others to corrosive.
  • Robots are weak to corrosive except on their eye crits which are neutral (as in not resistant to fire).
  • D’s Ma is neutral.
  • Wot and Oney follow their off-Peak resistances.
  • Some enemies’ health is increased ; others is the same as off-Peak.

Im not even going to attempt to contemplate the reasoning behind this

The eyes are made of flesh?

Borderlands.

That’s the reason.

Wait, which ones resist corrosive!?

I’ve always just assumed that Scorch resists fire, because it’s on fire. Never tried to scorch Scorch lol. Is this still true, for curiousity’s sake?

Also, screw you spell checker thing, I’m a bloody Aussie mate and we spell curious with a ‘U’

They’re biomechanical constructs, like those stupid Eridian guardians that should’ve been in BL2 but nobody’s complaining about because ■■■■ them!

They’re cyborgs on the Peak. Not robots. Now you know.

Evil Maniacal Laughter.

Because. If fire matching doesn’t matter on the peak because it does NOTHING. Then. Gaige’s LBT Tree and a Shock Bone out class fire by MILES?!
