Haderax Farming Help Request

I’m completely confused. I am running a Salvador and have followed a few builds for farming bosses. I have an on-level Bee Shield, Critical Conference Call, Lady Fist, Sand Hawk, and Grog Nozzle, Chaotic Evil Monk Class Mod. However, when given the chance to shoot the “Sweet Spot” in Haderax’s mouth, I am not able to melt him as I’ve seen in a lot of videos.

I have tried this about 40 times from multiple positions in the arena and am yet to pump out the damage I’ve seen time and time again in videos of people beating him. I’ve use all kind of different combinations and, to me, it doesn’t seem as if I’m getting the Lady fist damage bonus. This isn’t the only invincible I’ve had this problem with either. Whether it’s Hyperius or Pyro Pete, I’m not putting out the damage I should.

give us further info:
what level are you? what element is the conference call? (practicable is better due to the x7 projectile vs x5 than the rest) what do you use for slag? give us also your build (use this https://bl2skills.com/gunzerker.html#000000000000000000000000000000000).

I’m a level 71 Gunzerker. Here’s the build I’m using this go around:

The CC is a level 71 Crit CC with Slag. Hyperion Grip and Teidore stock.

I’m using the Level 68 Murdering Slagga for Slag. Bandit Grip and Stock.

Level 71 Core Lady Fist Vladolf Grip and Stabalizing attachment

Level 70 Captain Scarlett’s Sand Hawk Malawan Grip and Bandit Stalk. Farmed hours for a Flying one and didn’t get it.

maybe try getting to level 80? He’s level 92, nearly 79 billion hp.

He Scales with level. When I fight him he’s a level 76 or 77. You can fight him from level 50 up just like all the other invincibles.

Build looks good, I will just go hard on him with only the CC and the lady fist and i will just use any slag grenade i can find. if that didn’t work i will just cheese him in the ledge.

Although your CC is not fire and not practicable so it may take a few before you kill him. Try farming for a toothpick and see if that helps.

Slag is required for this fight, to stop him healing. I soloed him and it sucked. Without cheesing it.

Why not just use the Toothpick/Retainer/Mouthwash combo? Sure it’s slower than the speed kills that kill Haderax in like 30 sec but it’s very easy and reliable. My Axton kills Haderax unloading just one magazine into the mouth, pretty sure Salvador should be able to get similar results.

This is not true, you don’t need slag to prevent his health regeneration. I tag him with a fire CC and he doesn’t heal.

Um. I’m no Sal player, nor am I remotely certain…but would the slag element on the CC be the problem? Because the slag on slag bonus is pennies compared to the rest?
