When I finished the Armory Assault mission, I farmed the armory quite a few times. I never saw a pearl. After accepting Super Marcus Sweep, I again raided the armory and never saw a pearl. Finally, I complete the mission Local Problem (or whatever the name is) and loot the Armory again. Found two pearls. Does the loot get better because, if played the right way, it’s your last chance at the armory?
Yes, the awesome rating is highest on the last mission. The awesome rating is a hidden modifier that increases the chance of getting good parts on your weapons. However, getting pearls is still very rare.
