I totally get the hate I’ve seen. The flying enemies have wonky hit boxes (or my aim suddenly took a poo), and they gummed up the frame rate a little bit. Which got me nervous.
But all in all, I really enjoyed this, and can’t wait to move on to the next parts
But is the framerate thing just me or did this section throw anyone else just a few blips under normal?
Are referring to the Eridian Promontory map, leading right up to the Vault? I had heard this map can stress certain systems, though I haven’t experienced anything weird about it personally. But you wouldn’t be alone!
Yes. I mean, I was running everything at ultra and the slowdown wasn’t like, unplayable or anything, and my computer didn’t get hotter, but it did make me question if the entire thing was running as intended or not. Enemies had weird movements that seemed too fast, but maybe that’s intended. I just started the Knoxx dlc and the first assassin seemed to have similar quick movement.
I’m just intrigued because basically everything I do now is a test to make sure that BL3 is gonna run nicely.
Okay, cool. I’m stoked for the rest of the Knoxx dlc. This game started a lot less exciting but really picked up once I started finding cooler weapons.
I think the main problem with the map is that it has to draw and run combat out of your sightline
