What exactly is this supposed to be?
It’s their Borderlands Characters Grade, naturally!
OK so what is a character grade? Just the quality of a character? I ask because uhh…well Tina is in the top tier.
I see you adhere to the famous tautological school of thinking: it is what it is … 
But I don’t get (yet) what the character grade might be. Is Jack the most borderlandy character of them all and Nurse Nina the least? And how do characters we don’t really know concerning story and behaviour get rated?

Tiniest of Tina is definitely S tier.
Also, Handsome Jack is top of S tier and bottom of S tier. Since he’s on both sides of S tier, that means he is the most S tier character of them all, despite being the least S tier of the S tier.
