Which BL3 character are you most excited for?

Who are you playing as first? I’m curious to see how mixed it will be when I first start multiplayer when the game comes out in September, personally I can’t wait to play Moze

Yea you are pretty behind :stuck_out_tongue: its Moze the botjock (soldier) Amara the siren, Zane the operative, and Flak the beastmaster (3 different minions)

Thanks… just looked up and watched that other trailer after reading this (off to check the website now).

In practice, it really depends on their skills. Based solely on what we’ve seen so far, I’d pick Amara (looks like she’s got a knockback, eh, ‘punch’, and that’s always great for environmental kills).

yeah, amara and flak are the fan favorites. But Moze i think will be the default character, like axton so we will be seeing many of her playing.

Oh yea sorry about that, people have been speculating on their names for awhile now but they were confirmed today in the new BL3 trailer, you can find that on Youtube if you just type “Bl3 Trailer” and watch the ones that came out today

Not to be too pedantic, but it seems the beastmaster is actually called FL4K, not simply Flak.

If that is true do you think that means he is a robot or at least a cyborg of some sort, it’s common for them to use leet (l33t) on robots in Borderlands like Zer0, CL4TPT, and D374TP

He looks very heavily cyberized, almost to the point where he could’ve been in a terrible accident and had to be massively rebuilt to survive. If you go slow through the trailer you can see he has a good amount of organic material, but there’s a lot of metal under and around that coat.

I’m pretty much convinced that he’s a robot. A robot that dresses like a hobo, so a lot of people had nicknamed him Hobobot before we learned his actual name.

Y’know, I also had that impression initially, but all the parts I thought were still organic (such as one of his legs and hands) turned out to be mechanical as well upon closer inspection, so right now I’m thinking he’s 100% mechanical.

I’m the most intrigued by Zane. Obviously he has some Zer0 in him since he can deploy a decoy, but this phrase
Specializing in battlefield gadgetry
is interesting. Battlefield Gadgetry means what? Are traps going to be a thing? Are snares or tripwires (ala Horizon Zero Dawn) going to appear?
And of course there would of necessity be a skill tree specializing in Specializing in battlefield gadgetry, wonder what that will look like?

For me, it’s gotta be Flak. Not only does is he a beast master which gives him bonus points right off the bat but he also just looks so freaking badass! Love his character design and can’t wait to play. My next pick will probably be Moze because her action skill feels very Titanfall-esque which I love. I do plan on playing every single character all the way to max level like I always try and do with the series. Until then I’ll have the remaster of the first game to keep me busy :grin:

Judging from the reveal trailer, i had Moze first, Zane was the second and Fl4k was the forth one. BUT now that i know that his pets can EVOLVE, he ranks higher now. Zane or Amara is last. Dont know yet.
