This is so much B.S. My ONLY option to receive this game is order it through their website AND pay 8 bucks for shipping. The Xbox and PlayStation store don’t even have it on their sites. Can’t anyone LAUNCH a game properly anymore!?

The remaster doesn’t release until this coming Wednesday. While it is strange that we haven’t seen confirmation that consoles will be getting digital releases yet, it seems unlikely that they wouldn’t, not in this day and age. It just wouldn’t make business sense.
@VaultHunter101, @Kitty_Jo I know everybody is super busy right now, but can we get some info from the heavens above about some details on how people can buy the Remaster? This sort of question has popped up a couple times now.

Tried to order physical edition at gamestop.com for PS4 and they are OOS. 2k store as well. Super prefer to have disc vs download.
Might be out of luck though for physical edition unless there is a restock - offer for the other versions is online only, no in store pickup.

Since the disc is gamestop only. They just lost 2 sales from me. Cuz, I was gonna get it for both PS4 and XBONE.

No wonder GameStop is in so much trouble. They can’t even sell games anymore. I tweeted Gearbox. I would urge everyone to do the same. This is totally unacceptable. And I am rarely outraged.

The launch was not handled well at all from a business standpoint. Almost seems like they don’t want people to buy it. Some purchasing info would have been great. I’m sure it will be in the console game stores. I can’t think of any reason why it wouldn’t. But would have been nice to know that info ahead of time.
I don’t care how i get it, digital or physical. Already have money on the PS4 store so i’m leaning that way. Gaming companies should know by now that most people only go through Gamestop as a last resort nowadays. Making the physical a GS exclusive is another bad move. Thought Gearbox’s marketing was supposed to get better? I just want it to be Wednesday already. Since that’s the only way we will find out what’s going on apparently.

I’m thinking the physical release for this thing may be fairly limited. I stopped into Gamedtop to preorder and was told they weren’t doing preorders because they were only getting 2 Xbone copies and 3 PS4 copies. Went home and preordered from 2k right away. Now I’m reading they’re sold out. They may be banking on selling mostly digital, making physical more of a collectors thing.

GameStop has them in stock for PS4/XBONE.
Yeah I know I can order them for an 8 dollar shipping fee. But I can’t pre order one and most stores and only getting one or two copies of the game. So f**** up.
I talked to the guy at my store and he said the same thing, but he thinks they’ll get more shipments in later as he’s seen releases happen like that before. Just looks like the physical copy is going to be hard to get until some time passes and more copies are shipped out to stores.

By the time they get more copies people like myself will have already bought the digital copies from their respective PS or Xbox store. No wonder Gamestop is going under.
If they are very limited. I wonder how much people will be selling them for?
The thing that kills me about all of this is they are only killing the real diehard fans that are dying to play this. It doesn’t make any sense on so many levels. With that being said, of course I broke down and paid the extra 10 bucks to get it on the day of release from Gamestop. I’ll be anyone 20 bucks they don’t deliver it on April 3rd?!

I just called my local GS and apparently you can’t pre-order them which is kinda weird. Whatever, I’m just gonna try and grab one first thing when it opens.
I’m a bit irritated, personally. I was going to pre order it physical, since digital downloads don’t work where I live very well. And of course, PS4 is out of stock. It’s only 35$ to own this well worth it remaster and it’s a “get screwed, physical lover” situation. People even bought both goddamn copies. I don’t mean to be rude, but curse them. I hope I can get a used copy for less than 50$ used.

Sorry to hear that. I ordered an Xbox copy and as of yesterday they were still available. As long as you send them your first born for shipping

If you ever see a copy on eBay for PS4 used, do tell. Flabbergasted people bought one for both consoles anyways. Maybe someone will sell their PS4 copy. But like, they’re seriously why this game isn’t available for me and others rn. Gamestop should sell more than a few copies, but still. Christ, Gearbox. Completely burned a good game opening for me.
