Who do yo shoot just out of spite?

Who do you shoot just because? Maybe no one, but I have one guy that just pisses me off and gets shot every time I’m there.
It’s the Marauder at the shack where you pick up Princess Fluffybutt during Party Prep in Tundra Express.
Every time I go to Tundra he’s just leaning against the roof post, not a care in the world, not out causing explosions or mayhem or anything. Just not doing his job, so he gets a Lyuda slug right through the brainpan every time I see him.
Yes, playing one game for years does tend to cause strange things to happen to your brain…

Yup. That guy gets it every time I enter.

Sarcastic Slab always gets a round in the face too.

Danged right. Go put in a transfer request to Destiny if you don’t like how the Slabs do business Sarcastic Dude.

Also, occasionally a psycho will spawn outside the building in Liar’s Berg where you go buy the shield for Shielded Favors. If I see him wandering around out there I’ll go out of my way to pick him off, which of course sets off his buddies in the building, so naturally I have to go take care of all of them…

If you’re just talking about npc’s that shoot at you all of them. I like to do map purges where I kill everything on them, and nobody/nothing escapes those little cleansings. But there are some friendly/neutral ones that I think need it. Coming to mind are the wall bangers in Sanctuary, the audience at Gluttony Gulch, Smaller Than Average Timothy, the singing Psycho and his musical midgets, Innuendo Bot, Fink, and I’ve definitely tried to shoot Dave through his door during the Overlooked questline.

You know how I shoot out of spite?
The first steely-eyed Psycho that DARES spout off a Hamlet stanza at the mouth. Like, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU’RE RUINING EXQUISITE LITERATURE.

Last week, i phaselocked him at least 4 times in one session, and every time i came back to him he was leaning against this pillar again, just to get phaselocked another time. He must’ve been so confused

also the Drifters on the way to the Catch-a-Boat in Hunters Grotto, farming a Rough Rider would be 100% more efficient if I wouldn’t ALWAYS stop to shoot them.
same goes for a lot of enemies that are “on the way”

Freakin’ Drifters. Need a new weapon from Maliwan, “Drifter Decimator”, one shot has multiple projectiles that hit all critical spots at one time, flavor text: Elemental ZitPopper Extreme.

SInce this is a shooting game it is a premise that we kill them all.

i think the right question is who do you keep alive?

I was just thinking this… prone to map purges myself, if it’s an enemy, it dies. I do have a strange affection for Mad Mike. I mean, you can’t get through that map without killing him, but I make it a point to wreck him… clear out everyone else all slow, get on deck before he spawns, as soon as he shows up, annihilate him with my burliest attack so he can’t even get a shot off.

Ones I spare… tricky. Lil Sis comes to mind (regardless of whether or not she’s got an Evie, I won’t shoot her).

Oh, also any of the Frost Biter refugees after Tinder Snowflake is ended can get it too.
Any and all accomplices must be executed, no exceptions. =|

I never killed that guy. He’s the best character in the entire series.

OT : the 3 Frenzied Marauders in Southpaw Steam & Power right at the start of the map. You can skip them, but screw Marauders and their ■■■■■■■■ AI.

Everything!!! Next question!

I would also like to take the opportunity and point out two specific types of enemies that I take a special interest in killing. Second Wind properties on these enemies would have been fun, coz then I’d get the satisfaction from killing them over and over again. Which enemies am I refering to?

Hell is reserved for Heavy Nomads and Scavengers. :rage:

My buddies and I have a saying… Thou shalt not suffer a rabid to live.

Goliath Blasters and Juggernauts too!

Not that I spite them but if I see Goliaths I’m going to shoot their helmets off even if it’s a place that I’m planning to just skip / run past. It’s funny to use them as a distraction by themselves or by leading them into the middle of the pack before using Deception.

For example Frostburn after campaign reset I fight literally no one in that whole area before Lilith’s chamber but those Goliaths are going to get their rage on.

Enemies that I spite I like to not shoot because they’re a-holes and I don’t want to aggro them.

Pretty much everyone.

Depending on my mood, though. Sometimes I’ll just keep moving on but rabid stalkers get dealt with very harshly indeed, in revenge for the horror they brought to my first playthrough. I’m not normally one to bear a grudge, but in their case I’m willing to make a quite bloody exception.

Not sure this qualifies but whenever I play him, Kreig seems to insist on taking down buzzards with his axe. Go figure.

Scavengers and rat thieves- screw those guys :rage:

Completly agree on Scavangers. They ALWAYS NEED to be killed first. They need to die. I really hate those guys with passion. They seem to crit you with every shot, good luck if they wield torgue. I always saw them as the worst type of marauder, they have those rat-ish tendency to pick up loot and gold medal backpedalers. Also they have strange immunity hitboxes… idk sometimes your execute or fastball will connect but deal no dmg
