Regarding Badass Challenges

So I’ve been trying to get some of the more unique badass challenges lately because they have always appealed to me as I like to try complete every aspect of my favourite games. It is quite frustrating however that there are so many bugged challenges that you can simply not complete. Ones that come to mind are:

Lunar launching Station
Finish Him
Finish off 5 Dahl powersuits with a power core.

&

Regolith Range
Dead Weight
Defeat Deadlift without using a jump pad.

I’m sure there will be more bugs that I did not mention but those are the ones that have been bothering me recently. Gearbox should totally fix these issues, anyone agree?

Edit: There are also many unbalanced challenges that are annoying like Tier 4 Sniper Kills requires 2500 kills. Tier 5 for every other type of gun only requires 2000.

I got that one easily. I walked in with a flakker and he was right in front of me. I shot the flakker & he mysteriously disappeared. then a few badass achievments pop out at my screen. ^that one and I think the one where you cant let him use his shield regen thingies.

You must of got lucky with that challenge then because I have tried it several times making absolute sure I didn’t use a jump pad and it doesn’t give me it. :frowning:

You might have to defeat Deadlift during the actual mission (without using jump pads) when you first encounter him. I don’t think it will trigger otherwise. Easiest way is to start a new game with UVHM, till they fix the bug that is.

Yeah, for some reason, although the other Deadlift challenges can be gotten on any fight, that one seems like it has to happen on the initial encounter. I didn’t use a jump pad on several tries during NVHM and nothing, didn’t use one the first time on TVHM and it popped immediately.

If you are level 50 or so. come back to the 1st playthrough and kill it with one bullet! I’m not going to say that I did that, but… I did that. The same with the felicity challenge, I completed the mission in the first playthough after finishing TVHM

if you don’t get it in that specific play through, whether on normal, tvhm or uvhm, you’ll have to get it in the next play through or reset your current one. total pain in the ass.
